We worked with Amy at Connecting Hearts for almost 1 full year, start to finish. The level of expertise she brings to her clients is unmatched. She is very thorough and her communication is top tier. Five stars is not enough!!! So grateful for Amy!

Amy is amazing!! We got our home study done on a very great timely manner and she helped us with so many questions. She definitely makes you feel at ease with everything. Excited to stay working with her throughout our adoption process.

We heard about Connecting Hearts Adoption & Home Study Services via friends who already had their home study completed by them. Since we heard wonderful things, we decided to do our home study with Connecting Hearts and met with Amy Imber, the Executive Director.

She was incredibly friendly and personable, and made our home visits feel much more relaxed and stress-free. She explained in full detail the process of adoption, resources we could look into, scenarios to be mindful of, etc. She taught us so much in 90 minutes. It was almost as if we had a personal friend come to visit us for coffee talk. We were worried for nothing. Amy is really good about providing constructive feedback on how you can either better prepare your home for a baby or consider different perspectives when deciding on which route to take (ex: attorney vs agency, preferences on gender, etc.).

For the home study to be fully processed, A LOT of paperwork is required. Amy made it so easy for us to submit our documents and was quick to respond with updates, answers, and action items to ensure we were on track for a speedy finish. While home studies can take some time to complete, we wrapped up with Amy in less than 1 month (that's including 2 visits to our home too). She is so efficient and basically passes the baton to YOU to determine how fast you want to finish the study.

We absolutely loved working with Amy and are excited to work with her again in the near future for our post-placement visits. Highly recommend!!

We owe so much to the ladies of Connecting Hearts! My husband and I recently became “double Dads” to our son and it would not at all have been possible without Amy and Kathleen.
