Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

Two Spirit Health Services has been an invaluable resource for my girlfriend and I. I'm trans and it's the only place I feel comfortable talking about my health concerns. There isn't a place available nearby where we live (we live in Brevard County) where we can get access to LGBTQ specific services so we are extremely grateful to them.
The Beautiful You spa is the most welcoming place ever. We get laser hair removal and other work done with Brandi. We appreciate her attention to detail and the consistency of her work. I always feel glowing after I get work done by her. Brandi is very personable and super informative. I had trouble finding a good moisturizer because of my sensitive skin. Brandi instructed me in a skin care routine and a moisturizer that worked wonders on my skin. Brandi and the Beautiful You spa are lifesavers!
Two Spirit provides amazing health services for LGBTQ people. It's worth the hour travel for the services provided by the health clinic, behavioral clinic and Brandi's Beautiful You spa!

I visit Brandi every month and she is so amazing Sweet human being. I always feel vip at Two Spirit Brandi is so special and it’s no waiting time.
Now TWO SPIRIT it’s my primary medical practice. Everyone it’s friendly start with Marisol at the reception the Nurse Practitioners. I think I took the right decision. Tx

Two Spirit and Beautiful You have been very helpful for me. Everyone there has been kind and respectful. My Google account no longer reflects the real me. You would have to check facebook for that. I owe most of it too these wonderful people. Brandi Concolino, Marisol and others feel more like friends. Laser hair removal feels horrible but is easier to go through with someone that cares about you. I look forward to taking advantage of their beauty treatments as well. Would recommend them to all women looking for facials and other skin treatments.

Yes, they started off slow. Many reviews reflect that, however one must realize we all have to learn and adapt, and they have come a long way, while growing, learning, and helping the trans community. I recently lost my insurance and they helped me tremendously with finding me alternative care. Marisol at the front desk busts her butt, Dr. Vargas is the cool aunty everyone wants, and the mental health staff is incredible. Dr. Adrew has helped me tremendously as well. I appreciate all their hard work and dedication to our community. Thank you Sherrie and Dr. Baker-Hargrove for your tireless contributions.

Marisole, Julian, and dr Steve are the most amazing people to be around they’re always compassionate and understanding.
I started out with TwoSpiritHealth about a year and a half ago and I wouldn’t change anything I love this company and what it stands for! They help and go above and beyond for the community and I hope one day I can get my company involved with two spirits I would love to have and see more of my community involved with (AARROW sign spinners) my company! 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone!!
