Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

NEW STAFF! They have one of the best, friendliest, most caring staff I have ever dealt with. Everyone has the most beautiful personality and so loving and caring. I feel like my health matters to every person who works at this office Dr. Vergas is AMAZING and Marisol is PHENOMENAL.. If I could give more then 5 stars I would. If you want a Dr. Office who cares this would be the right one to go with.

I have been going here for 2 and a half years now. The appointments are more affordable compared to anywhere else I have been. However, Im constantly running out of my prescriptions. My medicine never lasts me to my next appointment (like it should!). My pharmacy tries to send requests to refill my meds but two spirit NEVER gets back to them. I try calling them myself and HAVE NEVER had them pick up the phone. I see someone at the desk every time that I visit?? What are they doing!?? The customer service sucks!

I came to this place about a year ago seeking a letter for HRT. My therapist was Jon Tarr. I expressed fear and doubt in my first visit, and therefore was gatekept for months. He told me he couldnt write me a letter until I could talk to my parents about it first (I’m 25 years old). I did as he said, and yet he continued to gatekeep me. He would even smirk when I’d claim that I was ready, I’d feel dumb for even asking. He’d then somehow have the audacity to tell me that he’s NOT gatekeeping me, simply following the “standards of care”. He would also continually call me “sir” despite being a trans woman. He is literally a therapist at a transgender health clinic calling a trans woman “sir”. Through tears I tried to let him know why he was wrong for keeping HRT from me. He said “you could just find another therapist”. I couldn’t believe it. I did find another therapist, NOT AT TWO SPIRIT, and got a letter for HRT in my first visit. Two spirit health clinic does more harm than good. Do yourself a favor, DONT go here.
