Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

Gutierra is the best everytime I've come in and I've dealt w her it's just nothing but humbleness and straight to the point and or resolving the issues everyone is awesome but I have dealt w gutierra for the longest she is the OG!! LOVE HER! and lord forgive me if I misspelled her name I suck....

They certainly want everyone’s MONEY, but their mental health department is pure trash. They continue to move appointments around without client approval (people have lives, schedules, needs), no show for televisits— then try to charge YOU for no shows as if it were YOUR fault. Hang up on you if you have ANY grievances that aren’t being met, and management is extremely confrontational— to MY wife— no wonder I know people who have KILLED THEMSELVES because they weren’t being treated correctly by their so-called mental health department. You ought to be ashamed of yourself. YOU HAVE SEVERELY FAILED THE LGBTQAI+ COMMUNITY AS A ‘MEDICAL’ TEAM. SHAME ON YOU!

I love this place, every time I go in for my medicine I'm always helped out by the best people, the doctors there are very nice and knowledgeable. The reception there is always very helpful as well, Gaitre has been helping me since she started here she above and beyond to make sure I get the help I need.

Once NP Blaine Guelde left this place has gone sharply downhill. I was a patient for about a year and half during the pandemic and all. Blaine was everything and more and was the only reason why i tried my best to stick it out so I could get my HRT I needed. She ended up getting her own practice locally and I highly recommend seeing her. Every appointment you have the prices will change and be different. They don't keep track of appointments very well and will gladly tell you one price and charge you something else. The pt care is non existent. Evelyn the therapist is truly a nightmare. Made sure to call me after our last scheduled appointment AFTER business hours on a personal cell that I'd "never find someone as accommodating and inexpensive as us". When I see this company at events I wish I could somehow make people turn away and warn them. No one should ever feel like they don't deserve quality medical care. This is a money maker business not a health care facility. I strongly advise you to read the most recent reviews as they are extremely true to the experience you'll have here.
