Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

Gautrie is wonderful ! My son has been going to 26 Health for a couple of years now. Gautrie has always been not only professional, but respectful, kind and compassionate. As a mom I always appreciate her understanding with difficult questions. She gets the job done 😊

They do not know the meaning of therapy and are not qualified to provide it. I first met with a woman who was judgemental from the start so I asked for a change. I got and spoke to Roberto for a year. He was poorly trained, did not know how to help people and in the end was judgemental too. I spent all my time telling him about my past and my traumas and he never contributed anything or made any suggestions or did anything to provide a path to healing and well being. After a year of him doing nothing and me pouring my heart out with no positive outcome he said I didnot need therapy any more. The experience was less than worthless.... it not only wasted my time but also I ended in a worse place

They dropped me without further warning or even an explanation. They even deny any appeal and so far they've been pushed me to other companies that so far can not help me. I lost my health, psychology, free medication and even my HRT to boot. Be weary of coming to this place, they may say they listen but be aware that it doesn't mean that they will help you for long. It's best if you are with this company to find another while you have enough time, because they only gave me 30 days to find a new company to help me and so far, nothing they suggested has been helpful or even close to a solution.
While I was with them, communicating with the health side of things was a nightmare, their staff never found a solution to my problems and so far they would prescribe me with things that halfway or barely worked at all. The only good thing about that side was for my HRT but even then trying to get in contact with anyone was difficult. As for the mental health side, I never had an issue, at least until the day when my own therapist who didn't tell me anything, suddenly told me I had 30 days left of being part of their service and was talking with someone on the phone of what services I required while I sat there confused on what he was talking about to the person on the phone. Everyone turned absolutely cold and refused me like I was a plague.
Please, I beg of you, be careful.

The staff is amazing everytime I come in I feel so welcomed. Gaitri is soo amazing I feel like I known her forever makes my Mornings everytime I speak to her ❤️ soo lovely alessa was also super sweet tooo and super fast with her hands they are amazing💕
