I had the pleasure of working with Amy from Connecting Hearts for my home study, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Waited to write this review until my adoption was completed. These people will tell you everything is ok and take your money. I simply wanted to adopt my son who I have been a father to for 11 years. He had just turned 4 when we met, He is almost 16 now. I am the only father he has ever known. Connecting hearts denied my adoption after I paid them. I did the home study. Was told me everything went great. Afterwards I had to schedule Drs visits and a long list of things I had to get done. I work long hours from home to support my family. I did not get it all done immediately after Jacqueline Rodriguez-Arroz came to my house and told me we were good to go. A few weeks later Amy called me to tell me they were denying me. Amy sounded O so happy to tell me there is no refunds. None of the 1500 I paid them would come back to me. I had to hire another company to complete the in-home study. I support a family of 6 and have spent close to 8000 on this adoption. Well it's done now. The only reason I went to Connecting Hearts is because my attorney recommended them. The company I used after theirs also charged me considerably less.

There are better companies out there and do charge less than Connecting Hearts. Save your money and have peace of mind!

I was very honest with you and your company. Overly honest if you ask people who were involved. I had nothing to hide. This is about me and my son. No one did this for me when I was a child. I am doing it and have done it for him. Now he and all his siblings have my last name. If this is Amy responding, know that your company and representative were wrong. In business practice, etc. The courts and other in-home study company agree.

Amy and Susan were so helpful and kind. They listened to us, answered questions and treated us with love and respect. We remained informed of what was happening with all relevant information, how the process would work in our case and were very responsive when we called or emailed. If we decide in the future that our kiddo needs a brother or sister, Connecting Hearts would be our first call.

We are currently going through the adoption process and as you can imagine there are soooo many things involved. For our homestudy Amy and Susan were absolutely amazing to work with. We didn’t feel stressed or pressured throughout the process and they worked with us to make sure we stayed on track. It was a great experience and Amy/Susan, hopefully you hear from us soon with some good news! Thank you for everything!
