Requirements to become a foster parent
Utah families receive monthly foster care payments to help offset the costs of raising a child. This stipend is meant for room and board, clothing, and related expenses.
The amount you receive varies based on a child's age and needs. Children that require more attention and care have slightly higher rates.
Foster youth have their medical and dental needs covered through Medicaid. This insurance should be enough for any doctor's visits, therapy sessions, dental exams, etc. Foster children also qualify for free school lunches.
Utah parents can take advantage of mentorship programs that allow them to learn from more experienced foster families. It's an excellent way to connect with others and build a support network. Plus, you'll have someone else to turn to if you have questions.
Utah Kids Belong has an app that gives foster parents access to special discounts from foster-friendly businesses. It's also an easy way to connect with faith-based communities, which may offer other types of support.

Three of my children have attended Mother Goose Preschool. I have been so pleased with everything they’ve learned but also with the field trip and preschool program experiences. Each of them have loved it. It has been a safe and positive environment filled with educational and fun learning. A very well rounded preschool!!

I've had 2 of my kids attend mother goose pre School and I love it! My 7 year old still talks about how much he loved it. The teachers are attentive and great with kids.. I love that there are so many field trips!

Karen is absolutely wonderful! She loves working with children and my kids have LOVED her! She is always so kind and thoughtful and truly wants them to have a great experience. I love that she has several other teachers in the class to help. The field trips are darling and so are the productions that she has the kids put on twice a year. I love sending my kids to her! Fantastic preschool!

I have had 2 children who have attended Mother Goose Preschool. They have both loved Mrs Delicious!! My second child sticks to me like glue but it didn't take more then a day and he was asking to go to preschool. Mrs Daniels has a love for children!! There is a good balance between work and play. The fieldtrips are wonderful.

I have had two children attend Mother Goose Preschool (with a third that will attend next fall) and have nothing but good things to say about it. We LOVE Karen! This preschool is the perfect mix of social and academic for preschoolers and my kids have loved all the fun things they have learned. I highly recommend Mother Goose Preschool to anyone!
