Requirements to become a foster parent
Utah families receive monthly foster care payments to help offset the costs of raising a child. This stipend is meant for room and board, clothing, and related expenses.
The amount you receive varies based on a child's age and needs. Children that require more attention and care have slightly higher rates.
Foster youth have their medical and dental needs covered through Medicaid. This insurance should be enough for any doctor's visits, therapy sessions, dental exams, etc. Foster children also qualify for free school lunches.
Utah parents can take advantage of mentorship programs that allow them to learn from more experienced foster families. It's an excellent way to connect with others and build a support network. Plus, you'll have someone else to turn to if you have questions.
Utah Kids Belong has an app that gives foster parents access to special discounts from foster-friendly businesses. It's also an easy way to connect with faith-based communities, which may offer other types of support.

I was looking for a preschool for my 4 year old daughter and was recommended by so many to have her attend Mother Goose Preschool. I have been so impressed with this preschool. My daughter absolutely loves going every day. The teachers are amazing. The love they have for these little kids shows on their faces. Seeing my daughter run up to her teachers with the biggest smile on her face is the best. I know she is in great hands. She has learned so many things that are preparing her for kindergarten but she also gets to have time to just play with her school friends.

We LOVE this preschool! All the teachers are amazing and so great with the children! My son especially loves all the fun field trips they get to go on. They learn and do so much each class and my son always comes home with a big smile and can't wait to show me what he did that day!

Karen is absolutely wonderful! She loves working with children and my kids have LOVED her! She is always so kind and thoughtful and truly wants them to have a great experience. I love that she has several other teachers in the class to help. The field trips are darling and so are the productions that she has the kids put on twice a year. I love sending my kids to her! Fantastic preschool!

I have had two children attend Mother Goose Preschool (with a third that will attend next fall) and have nothing but good things to say about it. We LOVE Karen! This preschool is the perfect mix of social and academic for preschoolers and my kids have loved all the fun things they have learned. I highly recommend Mother Goose Preschool to anyone!

I have had 2 children who have attended Mother Goose Preschool. They have both loved Mrs Delicious!! My second child sticks to me like glue but it didn't take more then a day and he was asking to go to preschool. Mrs Daniels has a love for children!! There is a good balance between work and play. The fieldtrips are wonderful.
