Requirements to become a foster parent
Utah families receive monthly foster care payments to help offset the costs of raising a child. This stipend is meant for room and board, clothing, and related expenses.
The amount you receive varies based on a child's age and needs. Children that require more attention and care have slightly higher rates.
Foster youth have their medical and dental needs covered through Medicaid. This insurance should be enough for any doctor's visits, therapy sessions, dental exams, etc. Foster children also qualify for free school lunches.
Utah parents can take advantage of mentorship programs that allow them to learn from more experienced foster families. It's an excellent way to connect with others and build a support network. Plus, you'll have someone else to turn to if you have questions.
Utah Kids Belong has an app that gives foster parents access to special discounts from foster-friendly businesses. It's also an easy way to connect with faith-based communities, which may offer other types of support.

Mother Goose Preschool is the best. I had been searching for a preschool for my 3 year old for about a month and wasn’t really impressed with any of them. Then I came across Mother Goose Preschool and felt completely comfortable sending my child there from the first visit. I’m so glad I found them and so is my daughter. She loves school and she loves her teachers. The fact that they use all senses in their teaching has helped my daughter to remember so much better.

My daughter loves Mother Goose Preschool. She has participated in multiple educational field trips, her teachers are fantastic, and the curriculum is well organized and fun for the kids.

My son turns 5 this year December and I assumed he would be registered during fall for Kindergarten since I’ve put him through preschool the year before. Come to find out, he will still be in preschool since he turns 5 after Sept which would be the cut out date to be a kindergarten. The preschool he had the year before didn’t have any spots open. I was fortunate enough to find MotherGoose Preschool and the teachers were kind enough to let my son in at the very last minute. I’m glad I found a preschool that has many teachers to help out with all the students and with a kindergarten curriculum, it’s a plus👌🏻My son enjoys everything they do here especially all the fun and unique field trips. I would highly recommend this school to family and friends.

I absolutely LOVE Mother Goose Preschool! Mrs D. is top notch! She is so thoughtful and caring towards all of the children. She thinks of the smallest details that will help each child succeed. You cannot go wrong with Mother Goose Preschool!

We love this school! All the staff are very intuitive and kind. The field trips are unique and well-organized, and the
Christmas program was so much fun! We will definitely be sending all our preschoolers to Mother Goose Preschool!
