What We Do
Through our Christian ministry of adoption, orphan care, and foster care we walk with expectant parents, hopeful adoptive families, foster families, and orphaned children around the world through life’s difficult chapters. Together, we write a story of hope.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You must meet minimum requirements to provide foster care for children in Colorado. Foster parents for children and families must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Maintain sufficient income to support a family
- Have physical and mental capability to care for children and youth
- Pass a child abuse background and criminal background check
- Work with a treatment team and undergo future training
- Complete a Home Study
Prospective foster families can contact a Colorado child placement agency or your local Department of Human Services. Social workers in these child welfare agencies will provide information about Colorado's child welfare system, foster care, and the adoption process.
Social workers recommended that other adults and children in your home agree to provide long-term home care, too. If everyone is ready to welcome a new child, your local agency will help your home become an approved foster home.

Hope's Promise does an incredible job with adoptive families. I am so excited that they are starting Foster Care - they will be great in this. Lastly I have seen their homes in foreign countries and it is amazing work. You have to see it to believe ie!

Love working with this organization and believe in their mission. Our Church has worked with Hope's Promise with both child sponsorship as well as participating in their Connection Teams going to serve in the countries where they provide orphan care. Incredible!

Hopes Promise made all the difference in our lives when my daughter experienced an unplanned pregnancy at age 17. Hopes Promise came along side us as my daughter made an adoption plan for her son. 14 years later, we are still involved in my birth-grandson's life as my daughter chose an open adoption.
I have also traveled with Hopes Promise to Nepal and Vietnam and observed firsthand how they care for orphans in several countries around the world. Hopes Promise truly has the welfare of vulnerable children as their mission, along with the desire that every child have the opportunity to grow up in a nurturing and stable family. And with the recent opening of their foster care program, more local children will benefit from their caring and expertise.
I highly recommend Hopes Promise and their ministries of foster care, adoption, and orphan care to anyone that has a heart to preserve the well-being of vulnerable children both here and internationally.
