Adoptions With Love was founded in 1986 with the vision of providing compassionate care and meeting the needs of pregnant women contemplating adoption while finding the best home for each child. Adoptions With Love is a private, non-profit, licensed, full-service domestic adoption agency. Since 2001, under the direction of Amy Cohen and Nancy Rosenhaus, over 360 new families have been created. Birth parents continue to receive compassionate and comprehensive counseling during the adoption process and on-going support afterward. Some of the AWL birth parents still call today and stay in touch with the staff, updating Amy and Nancy about their lives. In May 2016, Adoptions With Love celebrated their 30th anniversary and over 2,000 placements of beautiful children with loving families. Now in 2019, AWL has completed over 2,500 placements.

Today, Adoptions With Love, Inc, remains the premier non-profit domestic adoption agency serving prospective adoptive parents and expectant/birth parents all over the United States.

Adoptions With Love is a private adoption agency offering open and closed adoptions, home study services, financial assistance for birth mothers, and more.

Adoptions With Love is a licensed, domestic, non-profit adoption agency in Massachusetts. We work with expectant/birth parents across the United States to create loving adoption plans. We provide comprehensive, confidential services to all members of the adoption triad, including counseling, legal support, home studies, and more. We are here for you.

Requirements to become a foster parent

Your local DCF or foster agency offers various services for foster children and families. Parents have access to training and educational resources as well as support groups.

Foster children also have health insurance covered. The DCF provides foster families with a stipend to cover care needs like food and board. The state also offers a clothing allowance every three months that helps to reimburse parents.

A case worker visits resources families every other month or as needed, and children in foster care are also assigned a social worker. These resources are invaluable points of contact for foster parents.

Local support organizations provide further support, such as resources and helplines. Foster families in Massachusetts also form groups to assist one another, share stories, and give advice. It's an excellent opportunity to create new connections and learn more as a parent.

AWL was so amazing to work with. Everyone in the office is so friendly and knowledgeable. Nancy was our social worker throughout the adoption process, and even after, and I cannot say enough good things about her. Compassionate, knowledgeable, professional to Name a few of her qualities. Once the time for our adoption came we also worked with Amy and Jessica who were equally as wonderful. We wouldn’t have our amazing daughter if it wasn’t for these amazing women.
I would highly recommend this agency for anyone interested in exploring adoption.

30 years ago, Adoptions with Love was instrumental in providing me with the best set of parents on this planet - I could not ask for a better "parental unit", as I call them, to raise me, to love me, and to help me realize my dreams.

Since my 18th birthday, I've been writing back and forth to my birth mom, taking over from my mom, who continued correspondence throughout my early years. Unfortunately, we hadn't been able to connect in recent years - I had been moving around a lot. Lucky for me, I was able to reach out to Nancy and the AWL team to reconnect with my birth mom. Within just a couple short weeks, AWL had checked in with both parties, updated any necessary contact information, and I am putting my most recent letter in the mail tonight!!!

Simply put, I would not be who I am today without the CONSTANT support of those wonderful individuals at Adoptions with Love. Whether you are an expecting parent(s), or adoptive parents - you cannot go wrong with this agency. They're family - forever.

I have been associated with AWL for over a decade...first as an adoptive parent and now as a board member. I truly believe Amy and Nancy are the most knowledgeable, caring and skilled professionals you will ever find in domestic adoption. They put the needs of the child ahead of everything else and work tirelessly to ensure every detail is completely managed to minimize the emotional challenges for both birth parents and adoptive parents.

We have been so blessed by our experiences with this special group. We chose to adopt through AWL primarily because of the support they provide to birth families, but have been enriched every day since by the support they continue to provide to all of us. Nancy and Amy are such amazing and caring individuals, and their generosity, candor, and love helped our family grow to include our children, as well as their amazing birth families. We have been blessed beyond measure. Thank you AWL!
