Adoptions With Love was founded in 1986 with the vision of providing compassionate care and meeting the needs of pregnant women contemplating adoption while finding the best home for each child. Adoptions With Love is a private, non-profit, licensed, full-service domestic adoption agency. Since 2001, under the direction of Amy Cohen and Nancy Rosenhaus, over 360 new families have been created. Birth parents continue to receive compassionate and comprehensive counseling during the adoption process and on-going support afterward. Some of the AWL birth parents still call today and stay in touch with the staff, updating Amy and Nancy about their lives. In May 2016, Adoptions With Love celebrated their 30th anniversary and over 2,000 placements of beautiful children with loving families. Now in 2019, AWL has completed over 2,500 placements.
Today, Adoptions With Love, Inc, remains the premier non-profit domestic adoption agency serving prospective adoptive parents and expectant/birth parents all over the United States.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Your local DCF or foster agency offers various services for foster children and families. Parents have access to training and educational resources as well as support groups.
Foster children also have health insurance covered. The DCF provides foster families with a stipend to cover care needs like food and board. The state also offers a clothing allowance every three months that helps to reimburse parents.
A case worker visits resources families every other month or as needed, and children in foster care are also assigned a social worker. These resources are invaluable points of contact for foster parents.
Local support organizations provide further support, such as resources and helplines. Foster families in Massachusetts also form groups to assist one another, share stories, and give advice. It's an excellent opportunity to create new connections and learn more as a parent.

In my mind, Adoption with Love is the only agency to work with. They are the best and give you peace of mind for a process that is very stressful. They may cost a little bit more than other agencies, but speaking from experience, it is well worth the extra money. Our adoption did not go smoothly (nothing to do with AWL), but the support that AWL gave was incredible. Almost 1.5 years later they are still giving us support. I have, and will continue, to recommend them to friends and family that are looking to adopt.

From our very first contact with AWL we felt very confident that we chose the right agency to work with. Their professionalism, knowledge, kindness and pure love for what they do clearly shines through in all they do.
We sincerely appreciate that Nancy, Amy and Brittany (as well as the whole AWL team) have been there for us every step of the way. From the one on one sessions to the classes and phone calls we felt extremely prepared for the adoption process. We were ultimately matched with awesome birth parents who we immediately clicked with and are beyond blessed to have found our perfect little angel. Adoptions With Love Inc was incredible to work with in adopting my husband and my beautiful baby boy. From the moment you send in your application, you feel completely taken care of throughout the process. Nancy and Amy are incredibly professional, diligent, and experienced. If you are looking to adopt a newborn in the state of MA, I implore you to consider AWL. NO hidden fees or surprises along the way, unlike other agencies and other paths to adoption. If my husband and I decide to adopt again, AWL will be getting the call.

AWL is a wonderful agency to help build your family. We started the adoption process in 2014 by interviewing a handful of agencies. AWL was the only one that felt right. Later that year we adopted our first child through them. The AWL staff are excellent at what they do and guided us every step of the way. 2015 we adopted our second child through AWL. Again it was an amazing experience! Finally in 2020 we adopted our third child through AWL. Again and again we had a wonderful experience with guidance for every question along the way. Each adoption was very different and AWL always had what we needed to help us along our journeys. If you are looking at agencies, look no further, you just found the best! Thanks AWL for help making our wonderful family!
