My Florida Adoptions, LLC is a private adoption agency with caring and experienced professional staff available to assist you through the adoption process. We offer complete adoption services to both expectant/birth parents and adoptive parents. We strive to ensure your privacy is upheld, you are educated on the adoption process and you are treated with the upmost respect. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

i worked with tammy not once but twice... and thru her i have gained new family members thru adoption. if it wasnt for her i would have never met these amazing people who are there for me more than anyone i know. god truly blessed me when he placed tammy in my path. love makes a family and im very greatful for you tammy!!!

We had an amazing experience with My Florida Adoptions for our Home Study! We had the privilege of working with Leah and she made the whole experience for us. We had our Home Study completed and in hand within two weeks. It took hard work but Leah helped us through the whole process and made us feel so comfortable and taken care of. We highly recommend My Florida Adoptions!
