My Florida Adoptions, LLC is a private adoption agency with caring and experienced professional staff available to assist you through the adoption process. We offer complete adoption services to both expectant/birth parents and adoptive parents. We strive to ensure your privacy is upheld, you are educated on the adoption process and you are treated with the upmost respect. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

We had such an amazing experience with My Florida Adoptions. Leah was so helpful and patient with us as we went through the entire adoption process beginning to end. The entire team was informative, supportive and kind to us during our 18 months of working with them. We have a beautiful baby girl thanks to all their hard work. My husband and I definitely recommend them for all your adoption needs.

I could not have worked with a more sincere group of women during my adoption process. Tammy, Sue, and Leah are very professional and always willing to answer questions and explain everything. As an adoptive parent they were there for me during a failed adoption and they were there for me during a successful adoption. Not only do they support hopeful adoptive parents and walk beside them they are there for the expectant mothers. You could not go wrong working with them. I would definitely work with them again.
