My Florida Adoptions, LLC is a private adoption agency with caring and experienced professional staff available to assist you through the adoption process. We offer complete adoption services to both expectant/birth parents and adoptive parents. We strive to ensure your privacy is upheld, you are educated on the adoption process and you are treated with the upmost respect. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

I can recommend with complete certainty, My Florida Adoptions! The staff, Tammy, Leah, Tina and Susan are the most compassionate, understanding, knowledgable and friendly that I have worked with! They are devoted in assisting both, birth parents and adoptive parents through the adoption process. Call them to discuss your situation and you will instantly feel like part of their family!

My Florida Adoptions was right by our side every step of the way! Staff would answer email and texts even on Sunday evening! This is a very overwhelming process but they were very patient with us and didn’t mind answering the same questions over and over as we forgot things along the way. I’m sure they have many clients at the same time but we always felt like we were their top priority, and sill do even after our adoption finalization. With this process being so highly emotional I am so happy this agency was guiding us every step...they really did make the process much easier! Our case is a little abnormal so MFA expatiated everything and our miracle was home in our arms in 6 days! And not to mention the pandemic, they were wonderful about respecting our family’s safety and we were able to do a lot via FaceTime. They even offered their office to us as a safer place to have our court hearings, rather than take our son to a public notary or courthouse. I would definitely recommend My Florida Adoptions! We plan on using them for baby #2!
