My Florida Adoptions, LLC is a private adoption agency with caring and experienced professional staff available to assist you through the adoption process. We offer complete adoption services to both expectant/birth parents and adoptive parents. We strive to ensure your privacy is upheld, you are educated on the adoption process and you are treated with the upmost respect. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

I have worked with my florida adoptions a few times in the past. They are an amazing team that will do everything in their power to help with anything you need Sue is amazing to work with and Leah was just as great. As a birth parent they are super helpful in finding adoptive parents. I would completely recommend them for any birth parents looking into adoption for their little one. They make sure that you find a family you can connect with and are completely comfortable with for your little one. Tammy was awesome to work with in finding adoptive parents for the little one. She knows what she's doing when it comes to pairing a birth parent to adoptive parents.

Tina, Tammy, the entire office is extremely professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, helpful, and so very caring. Whether you are a birth parent or an adoptive parent, this office is filled with the support and loving guidance to walk with you as you navigate your path the entire way.

To say we were satisfied with our experience with MFA is an understatement!! From the first moment we talked with Leah and Tammy over the phone, we felt genuinely at ease and knew we would be in wonderful hands through our entire process. They were professional, extremely knowledgeable, understanding, and it felt like we were the only family they were working with. As first-timers in the adoption process, we had tons of questions and concerns. Each of them were met with honest, thoughtful, and thorough answers. Tammy truly cares for both the adoptive families and the expectant mothers with such a beautiful sincerity. We love her so much! She is considered part of our family, even after two years of our son being home. We would recommend anyone considering adoption to look NO FURTHER than My Florida Adoptions!
