Requirements to become a foster parent
Adults who are new to the fostering process sometimes feel overwhelmed and wonder if they will have support on their journey. Your child-placing agency is the first resource. Social services caseworkers provide aspiring foster parents with various types of support and connections. These include free educational training programs, helplines, and support groups.
It is important that foster parents build their individual support network, too. Connecting with other foster families with more experience is an excellent place to begin. Texas groups offer foster parent meetups; you can search online for the closest one.
The Texas Foster Family Association provides state training, a regional directory of support services, a summer training conference, and more. Membership benefits include getting access to foster care professionals and learning more about ways to become better caregivers. Children of TFFA members can also get assistance through the Scholarship Fund.
Austin Angels is another support organization that strives to assist foster parents and Texas foster children. They offer care packages and gifts for foster children and their caregivers, mentorship options, and education, among other resources. Foster children and teens can learn valuable skills that help prepare them for independent living, as well.

Love this daycare/preschool. I always recommend to friends, family, and coworkers.
We have used the facility for about 5 years, and we took a break due to job lay offs, but we are back, and my 4 year old loves it.
They offer breakfast, snacks , and lunch.
I love the holiday shows, and end of year graduations.
They are great with those with special needs and other medical conditions.
(My oldest has down syndrome, my 5th youngest needed speech therapy, and my baby has CHD.)
I hope you love this facility as much as I do.

When it's time to put your kids in daycare, every parent feels anxiety.
One of the most positive experiences we had was walking into Kathy's and being greeted by an amazing group of Teachers. I knew these faces all too well, as I went to Kathy's 14 years ago. I did my due diligence inspecting the facility and i'm pleased to announce some things don't change.
They continue to provide excellent care for children and customer service for parents. I've never felt more comfortable leaving my loved ones in the care of Kathy's Kiddie Corner. My Daughter didn't cry once, she joined the class for a hot breakfast and immediately felt at home.

Do you really want your kids to go here, it has a foul odor and the cleaning standards are not up to par with the state requirement for child care centers....

I absolutely LOVE this daycare!! It's very clean, the teachers are all experienced, they have so many activities for the kids to do. It's a spacious facility so the kids have plenty of space and it's not crowded.My daughter loves the food but my favorite part is that no one wears shoes in the infant room 😊 would absolutely recommend this daycare
