Ramey-Estep Homes, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit organization that offers a variety of services to youth and their families in Kentucky.Ramey-Estep staff will work collaboratively with certified foster parents to determine how many foster youth can be accommodated in their home without sacrificing quality of care.
Foster Care Parents must complete 37 hours of pre-service training, and participate in 22 hours of in-service training annually.
Couples do not have to be married, however couples must be established within their relationship. Single-parent homes are accepted. Foster parent applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Foster Parents will maintain medical records and agency forms.
Foster parents receive a competitive reimbursement rate to assist with the financial responsibilities of caring for a child.REH-TFC strives to create a family atmosphere for all foster parents to allow for opportunities to create a support system within our program. Having support from a fellow foster parent who have experienced the act of foster parenting, is instrumental in being a successful foster parent.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You'll still have support and guidance when you receive a foster placement. Kentucky has continued training and can connect new foster parents with experienced families through the Foster Parent Mentor Program.
Having access to an experienced foster family is invaluable. You'll be able to connect with other adults who have advice and can provide coaching to make your parenting journey easier.
Your local child-placing agency is one of your best sources of information and foster parenting services.
Nonprofit child welfare organizations approved by the state recruit resource parents, provide resources, and offer training and general support. When you attend the informational orientation and parent training, you'll receive books and resources that tell you more about the many available foster parent support groups.

I was in zeta back when I was 16 …I’am now 30 and I hated this place as a teenager but I learned a lot from Brandon bill who was My group leader… Perfect place for out of control kids honestly I wish it was the only place I had to go…my mom had me bounced all around and this was the only place that helped me

This is the most abusive place on earth I was there 10 years ago and still hear hororr stories I suggest to never send a child there I’m surprised they haven’t killed anyone they use to choke and punch 90 lmb me like a grown man it’s horrible and hopefully EVERYONE ASSOCIATED WILL BE JAILED

This establishment is the most horrible thing you could do to a child. Most staff are extremely abusive, screaming at children every chance they get and physically abusing them and pass it off for treatment (I have seen this with my own eyes) I remember one in particular named Mr Porter. He is an abuser with a short man complex who seems to make himself feel better by taking his anger out on the residents but by far the most absolutely vile person there is Mrs Johnson I have never in my life experienced a more two faced wicked person in my intire life I have seen kids break down into tears having complete panic attacks because she works that day she is unfair unforgiving and should not be allowed near children of any age. This boot camp is one of the most horrifying experiences I have ever suffered to witness. I am finally old enough to realize the absolute atrocities that went on and still go on till this day I plan to seek legal counsel and have this nightmare for so many shutdown at whatever cost. There is a special place in hell for the persons who run this internment camp for children I will have this torn to the ground if it's the last thing I do.
