The founder and staff of A New Beginning Adoption Agency are adoption professionals with personal adoption experience as adoptive parents, adult adoptees, and birth parents. We are a non-profit, licensed adoption agency with extensive experience supporting, preparing, and educating adoptive families and birth families. Our goal is to create families through adoption and provide essential post-adoption services to everyone involved: adopted children, birth parents, and adoptive parents. Adoption is a journey, and we are here every step of the way.

Making the decision to create an adoption plan for your baby is a significant step. At A New Beginning Adoption Agency, we understand that your adoption journey involves numerous decisions and choices. That’s why we offer free and confidential counseling throughout your experience, provided by knowledgeable and compassionate adoption professionals and licensed counselors. Additionally, we have an experienced adoption attorney who can address all your legal needs when making an adoption plan. We provide you with adoptive parent profiles of home study-approved families, allowing you to choose or interview potential families to consider for parenting your baby. You are in control of the process, including your selection.

Requirements to become a foster parent
There is plenty of support available to resource families. Foster parents work as part of a team that includes the birth parents, social workers, school staff, a court-appointed advocate/guardian ad litem, and other professionals.
Your foster care agency is there for you every step of the way. They answer questions, provide training, offer resources and referrals, and help you address any obstacles or concerns.
Since you work as part of a professional team, the birth parents can also be a valuable resource. Working with them is in the best interest of the child, and it can make your job easier too. You can learn about foods or hobbies that the child likes, study methods that work, and so on.
Check your area for local support groups as well. They advocate for foster youth and can guide you on your journey.

ANB was the best experience i have ever had, its been 4 years since placement when i placed my child with the most perfect family ive ever met in my life,

We love ANB and have the best experience with them! They treated us like family throughout the process. They answered every question and were always available to us by phone, in person, by e-mail at any time for almost a year. When our daughter came to us, it was late on December 27 when we got the call that she was waiting for us to come and she was in our arms at 9:30 a.m. on December 28. Our adoption specialist and ANB staff left their families and holiday celebrations to take care of our family. They told us the "hard truth" when we needed to hear it, celebrated our new daughter and gave us all of the love, hugs, encouragement and support that we needed throughout our adoption. They never left our sides. Our family is complete, but we would adopt with A New Beginning again in a heartbeat. We love them and we love their work!

ANB has the most caring staff ever! I know they all work tirelessly to help provide the most knowledge and education to each family. Their main goal and purpose is to build strong foundations for families by providing information and support. The entire staff is driven to find the ideal situation for every family. I am always amazed at how much time the staff put into their 'job.' But that is just it, it is not just a 'job' to ANY of the people at this agency. It is their passion and their calling to bring families together. This agency realizes the importance of continuing the education and the fellowship well after you bring your child home with many activities for families and adopted children to participate in. A New Beginning is THE most supportive and caring agency in this area!

We decided to work with this agency hoping that since they were local, we would have a positive personal experience with them. We were treated very poorly. Once we paid the fees and signed with them, they would only communicate with us through email. They refused to return our phone calls. When we had concerns and questions, they were very defensive. I requested a meeting with the owner and the adoption specialist assigned to our case. The first thing Stephanie(executive director) said before we could say anything, was she agreed with everything Christy (our assigned adoption specialist) was doing in handling our case. Again they were very defensive with the concerns we brought up. They also stated, they only communicate through email, because they want to have "proof" of everything said. Since I work in a medical field I realized during this meeting they had a lack of education and knowledge. The "adoption specialist" doing our home study didn't even have a degree in social work. There was nothing we could do since we couldn't move forward in adopting without our home study. It took over 7 months for them to complete our home study. We lost time and money with this agency. We were able to utilized our home study and went on to work with a couple of amazing agencies. Be very careful if considering this agency to adopt.
