The founder and staff of A New Beginning Adoption Agency are adoption professionals with personal adoption experience as adoptive parents, adult adoptees, and birth parents. We are a non-profit, licensed adoption agency with extensive experience supporting, preparing, and educating adoptive families and birth families. Our goal is to create families through adoption and provide essential post-adoption services to everyone involved: adopted children, birth parents, and adoptive parents. Adoption is a journey, and we are here every step of the way.

Making the decision to create an adoption plan for your baby is a significant step. At A New Beginning Adoption Agency, we understand that your adoption journey involves numerous decisions and choices. That’s why we offer free and confidential counseling throughout your experience, provided by knowledgeable and compassionate adoption professionals and licensed counselors. Additionally, we have an experienced adoption attorney who can address all your legal needs when making an adoption plan. We provide you with adoptive parent profiles of home study-approved families, allowing you to choose or interview potential families to consider for parenting your baby. You are in control of the process, including your selection.

Requirements to become a foster parent
There is plenty of support available to resource families. Foster parents work as part of a team that includes the birth parents, social workers, school staff, a court-appointed advocate/guardian ad litem, and other professionals.
Your foster care agency is there for you every step of the way. They answer questions, provide training, offer resources and referrals, and help you address any obstacles or concerns.
Since you work as part of a professional team, the birth parents can also be a valuable resource. Working with them is in the best interest of the child, and it can make your job easier too. You can learn about foods or hobbies that the child likes, study methods that work, and so on.
Check your area for local support groups as well. They advocate for foster youth and can guide you on your journey.

ANB has been there for us from the very beginning. Their foster-adoption information seminar gave us the courage to become parents in this nontraditional way. The administrative office was thorough as we came into this as an unmarried couple and they made sure the state would support our lifestyle. Our home study was accurately and thoughtfully written. All of our inquiries were received and responded to in a timely manner. Their social workers held our hands through over 70 inquiries until we found the right match for our family. At home visits were always on time and professional as well as fun for our son. Nearly two years after walking through their door as a very scared couple we finalized with confidence that we built a strong forever family. We had bumps in the road, but they've always been just a phone call away and the agency has grown to include monthly support groups to guide us through the trying times. We sincerely thank you for caring for our foster youth and building families.

If you want an adoption agency that is committed to being your advocate every step of the process (for both the adoptive family and birth parent(s) ), then I recommend A New Beginning Adoption Agency. Cara was our case worker and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. She is compassionate, understanding, dependable, and patient. We really couldn't say enough good about Cara or this agency as a whole. The adoption process can be stressful and emotional. You'll want someone like Cara guiding you through the process. She always keeps the child's best interests as her top priority and my husband and I were very impressed with that approach.

Adoption has been a huge part of my life for 18 years, but only during the past several years have I been able to become more active in the community and really understand the scope of what is involved with the *sometimes controversial* topic. I've had the opportunity to work more and more with A New Beginning in my journey of adoption advocacy. They provide top-notch resources that I wish I'd had access to years ago. Their team is dedicated and kindhearted.
Not many people would want to step in front of the emotional buses that are cruising down the roads of life, but they handle the tough situations with grace and ALWAYS put the kids first. Creating families from the struggles faced on ALL sides of the adoption triad is no small feat. I'm continually impressed by how active they are in training, research, and improving their processes to make the experience as positive as possible, before, during, and after placement.

This agency is a one in a million! From first encounter to the end of your journey, the team of ladies at this agency are professional, honest, hard working, caring individuals who have a love and compassion for building families! I was thoroughly impressed with the education I received throughout the process, the above and beyond service given to me, the way my needs were met, and the warmth I received in every interaction. I can’t believe the lengths that this agency went through to make sure I had the best experience possible. When the professionals serving you love what they do, it shows and makes a huge difference in the process. I couldn’t be happier with my outcome! I am deeply impressed by the professionalism and caring concern of every member of this agency. The entire team is clinically sound, and have very ethical practices. From the very beginning the focus of ANB has always been on what is in the best interest of the adoptee first, which is what adoption SHOULD be about.
I am proud to have been a community partner for over 10 years and recommend them to birth families considering making an adoption plan, infant and foster care adoptive families, and community members looking to make a contribution. This agency will always act in the best interest of the children they serve and they make the right clinical call, even when it isn't the easy call.
