A New Beginning Adoption Agency, Inc.

As a birth mother, this experience was one that was a difficult experience to navigate for me but also for my birth child. At first, the agency was very welcoming. They answered all my questions, helped match me with the most amazing family, and continued to show their support. After the baby was born and the adoption papers will filled out, the actions of the agency changed. They gave me information they now are telling they cannot do. They told me what I needed to hear and they did not tell me all of the truth. It made me feel as if all they wanted was my child. I reached out afterwards in dismay as I was upset in the hindsight of the situation now able to see the issues. Their agency never called me back, the only the person that reached out, was the same person that gave me false information. There was no responsibly for their actions. This agency takes great care of their adoptive families and potential parents. I hope this gives them the opportunity to correct their wrongs and do better for their birth parents. A baby is not an object and does not deserve to be treated that way. I hope someone takes this seriously and changes their actions. They have a great potential to be an amazing agency for birth parents and adoptive parents, and I hope instead of dismissing me as they have in the past, the reflect on the situation and do better. We deserve that, the babies deserve that, and families deserve that.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO ADOPT! This company is so racist. We paid $500 for an application fee, $500 for a 3-day class, and $1300 for a Home Study. After taking the classes and having a Post Training Interview and finishing our long questionnaire, Sydney said, "I am sorry, we can not approve you to move forward at this time based on your answers for a multiracial adoption" We were so confused and asked her to clarify what was wrong and she wouldn't. We never even mentioned what color of skin a child we would like to adopt, because that was never an issue for us. She might as well said, "Our staff here doesn't think your white skin is black enough to adopt". I have never felt more prejudice and racism in my life. So I told them I wanted my $1300 back and they said, "We don't give refunds" so I threatened to take them to small claims court, not for a refund, but to compensate all our time we waisted with this company. I did get my money back. But for the sake of time, USE ANOTHER AGENGY. Here is a list of adoption agencies in Idaho. For your times sake, do your homework and use another agency besides A New Beginning. They waisted so much of our time!

We have two beautiful adopted children--both adoptions facilitated by ANB. We had a wonderful experience with them each time. The staff goes above and beyond to care for us and the birth families. Even now, several years later, they know us by name and remember small details about our family. They have gone out of their way to continue to care for us. I would highly recommend ANB to anyone looking to adopt!

We love ANB! We brought home our daughter in December and finalized her adoption in July. We had been in the waiting pool about 6 months when we were finally chosen by her birth mother. Kaitlyn was our case worker and did amazing. She listened and was always willing to answer our questions. When it was time to go meet our daughter Kaitlyn was out of town with another family working on a case. Amber was able to step in and did an incredible job. We felt like we could be honest and open and received the support needed throughout the process. Their pricing was also more fair in comparison to other agencies. Thank you for helping us find our little girl and creating a smooth process!
