American Kidz is a full-service adoption agency. We are licensed in the state of Florida as AmericanKidz Adoption Services, Inc. and in Georgia, as AmericanKidz of Georgia, Inc. AmericanKidz was the "brainchild" of founder Kathleen Calcutt in 2004. Kathleen and her husband Patrick Calcutt are both attorneys and partners in the law firm of Calcutt & Calcutt, P.A. Kathleen and Patrick are the parents of six children, including three adopted boys.
AmericanKidz provides legal and counseling services to coordinate the adoption of newborn infants, children in foster care, and children with special needs all over the United States. AmericanKidz also works with Americans stationed or working abroad. The staff of AmericanKidz has a special appreciation for the intricate and important details of the adoption process. It is our goal to provide you with the best service possible as we work with you to expand your family through adoption.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

Fraud! They charged 40k for a adoption that never happened. And refused to give the family a refund. The take of advantage of families that want to parent and mistreat birthmorthers making them change their minds about placing their baby. Fraud!!!! Beware of this agency!. They will take your money! The owner might be doing drugs can't stay focus and always nodding off..

Hello this is the father of the baby of Natasha janczak other reason why I'm writing a play Slow is because I never been served with papers and I continuously have been telling them lies that I have do not want to give up my baby and that I would take my son or daughter whichever she's having I'm fine with and I would take care of my own kid and she just hasn't told them or maybe she's just pregnant and confused but either way they just don't listen to and I haven't really brought up to him cuz I don't know the people thank you have a blessed day

They are professional and caring. They put the babies well being above all. The process is extremely emotional and the women at American Kidz go above and beyond to help ease any stress.

They have been so amazing. The day before a holiday and they met with my sister and I tonight after 9pm because the situation required emergency assistance.

What a joke. They say they are helping you but they put you in roach and rat infested hotels and don't care one bit about your health or safety.
