Adoption Dreams Come True believes that children, first and foremost, deserve loving, safe and permanent homes. Adoption Dreams Come True and its staff work to make this dream a reality by providing truthful, complete and compassionate counseling to birth parents to aid in the important decision around unplanned pregnancies. We offer understanding and education to create a positive adoption experience for families who have a strong desire to parent.
We will work to individualize adoption plans and to honor each client’s wish for a successful adoption whether it is open, semi-open or closed.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You must meet minimum requirements to provide foster care for children in Colorado. Foster parents for children and families must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Maintain sufficient income to support a family
- Have physical and mental capability to care for children and youth
- Pass a child abuse background and criminal background check
- Work with a treatment team and undergo future training
- Complete a Home Study
Prospective foster families can contact a Colorado child placement agency or your local Department of Human Services. Social workers in these child welfare agencies will provide information about Colorado's child welfare system, foster care, and the adoption process.
Social workers recommended that other adults and children in your home agree to provide long-term home care, too. If everyone is ready to welcome a new child, your local agency will help your home become an approved foster home.

Amazing people and place.

The staff at ADCT is amazing. We can't imagine going through the adoption process with any other agency. They are so wonderful with both birth families and adoptive families a like. If you are looking to adopt I would highly recommend this agency.

Adoption Dreams Come True is an adoption agency with staff that are incredibly caring and well versed in the adoption process. I have had the pleasure of working with them on a one-on-one basis for many years. As an adopted adult and having tried to adopt a child in the 70's, I would have been so grateful to have had an agency such as ADCT, to help me. I am honored to say that I am associated with them and the amazing work that they do!
