Adoption Dreams Come True believes that children, first and foremost, deserve loving, safe and permanent homes. Adoption Dreams Come True and its staff work to make this dream a reality by providing truthful, complete and compassionate counseling to birth parents to aid in the important decision around unplanned pregnancies. We offer understanding and education to create a positive adoption experience for families who have a strong desire to parent.
We will work to individualize adoption plans and to honor each client’s wish for a successful adoption whether it is open, semi-open or closed.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You must meet minimum requirements to provide foster care for children in Colorado. Foster parents for children and families must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Maintain sufficient income to support a family
- Have physical and mental capability to care for children and youth
- Pass a child abuse background and criminal background check
- Work with a treatment team and undergo future training
- Complete a Home Study
Prospective foster families can contact a Colorado child placement agency or your local Department of Human Services. Social workers in these child welfare agencies will provide information about Colorado's child welfare system, foster care, and the adoption process.
Social workers recommended that other adults and children in your home agree to provide long-term home care, too. If everyone is ready to welcome a new child, your local agency will help your home become an approved foster home.

I was hesitant to write a review but after reading another (where the same thing happened) thought sharing the story was important. Same thing that happened to my friends as happened in Kris Bergathon’s review. My friend brought an adoptive mother to their attention and they put her into the pool for everyone while keeping my friend totally in the dark. There were other red flags as well. I don’t like writing bad reviews but the way everything went down was disturbing. Best wishes to all adoptive parents and birth parents xoxo

Adoption Dreams Come True is the BEST!!!! As an adoptive mom to twins, the staff at ADCT have always been compassionate and caring through our journey. What I like best about the staff at ADCT is that they are not only present in the moment but also before, during and after the pregnancy plan has been made. They will do counseling to birth parents and adoptive parents whenever and wherever. They are truly devoted to the families they serve. Keep up the Great Work.

The decision to adopt can be filled with a roller coaster of emotions. Having said that, finding an adoption agency that cares for the WHOLE family, birth mom and dad, CHILD, and the adoptive parent(S) is absolutely crucial. As an adoptive mom of 4 children (5 other biological children), I needed someone with whom I had complete trust and confidence in. Knowing that some birth moms change their mind during the process is difficult being on the other side of wanting and waiting for a child. But I recently had the experience of having pregnant teen mom live with me as she made that difficult decision to make an adoption plan for her child only to change her mind two weeks later. Watching this lovely young woman desperately want what was best and knowing the adoptive family would be wonderful parents, yet desperately wanting to be the one to raise her child was heartbreaking. This gave me great insight and deep appreciation that Adoption Dreams Come True cares for the WHOLE family. Thank you for all you do to make sure that children and their parents are cared, loved, and valued wherever they are on their journey of adoption.

Stay far far away. I have now had two friends use this agency and they are awful. One of them found their own birth mother, brought her to the agency, only to have the agency put the birth mother into the entire pool of families, against the birth mother's consent. Oh - and both friends have been waiting for YEARS with almost no birth mothers being shown their book. Their network of birth mothers is nonexistent. There are better agencies. (I am a father of two adopted children)
