Tender Love and Care FFA, a foster family agency in Moreno Valley, California, accepts dependents of all genders from infancy to 21 years of age, who have a history of abuse and neglect or delinquency, and who have ongoing treatment and care needs requiring out-of-home placement. We recognize that foster children placed in out-of-home care are likely to have experienced trauma including but not limited to physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, poor nutrition, medical neglect, family dysfunction, and separation, among others.
We are strongly committed to cooperating with our Child Welfare Agencies who place their foster children with our agency. We strive to provide permanency goals including reunification, emancipation, or independent living plans associated with these children.
A Tender Love & Care FFA aims to take part in changing the world by giving children a chance at a better life and a brighter future.

Requirements to become a foster parent

A child's median time in the California foster care system is over a year at 16.8 months. 13% spend 3-4 years in foster care.
California needs foster parents to take in multiple children if they have the time and energy to care for them. Sibling groups often need care, and it is essential to support these family bonds. In California, it is challenging to find homes for teenagers, though they need stable environments and reliable adults to support them.

I believe this place stands out more then the couple of other places Ive been to. They helped me and my family above and beyond. We have had great experience with the friendly staff. One thing that caught my was the sincerity I felt when i spoke to them and the actual care they had for me. They showed me with how they helped. I recommend this location.

TLC, FFA has made our fostering and adoption process very simple, easy and they live up to their values. Every single employee of this company is passionate about their work, and it shows. They are responsive, timely and really care for the resource families that come through. Their poise and compassion for both the children and the resource families continuously reminds me why we chose TLC, ffa for our family’s journey. I can’t recommend them enough, 5 stars does not do justice for this team of wonderful people.

I am so glad I went to this agency. I’ve heard so many bad things about agencies; so I was concerned. But they are the sweetest, caring, generous and very helpful. I just became a foster parent and have had all the help and training I need. I love how I can just call them and they’ll give me an answer right away if not they’ll verify and give me a call back. Will definitely recommend if you want to become a foster parent.
