Choosing an agency to assist you in your adoption plan is one of the most important decisions, both for you and your child. It is important that you feel comfortable with the agency you choose. The adoption process needs to be stress-free. You want to know your agency will do the following during the adoption process: They treat you like you are the only client. They are working in your best interest. They will not make you feel pressured. They truly care about your child’s future. They want to build an adoption plan around your needs. They screen the families personally and allow you to choose couples who are going to make wonderful parents for your child.
They are available to help YOU. They are licensed and have qualified counselors and coordinators on staff to support you before, during, and after the adoption. This is a private adoption agency. You make the choice to make a plan of adoption. Angel’s Choice will provide an Adoption Coordinator who will see you through the entire adoption process, beginning to end. Your Coordinator will help you create a customized adoption plan and will be available to help you when you need it.

Requirements to become a foster parent
There are myths and misconceptions about what you need to qualify as a foster parent.
Foster parent requirements vary by state. Parents must be at least 21 years of age in Arkansas. However, there cannot be more than a 45-year age difference between the child and the parent.
Marriage is not a requirement for fostering. Single individuals may apply.
Every foster parent in Arkansas must:
- Pass a background check
- Have a physical exam
- Complete the Arkansas Home Study
- Complete required training classes
- Pass the home inspection
- Attend face-to-face interviews with a state foster advocate
- Maintain financial stability
In addition, foster homes must have enough room for the foster child. This includes 50 square feet of bedroom space for personal belongings.

We were so blessed to work with Michelle during our adoption process. She was so supportive and loving to our birth mother, caring for her during the process. She was encouraging and thoughtful of us. Michelle was amazing in looking after everyone's best interests- adoptive parents, birth parents, and our precious baby. She is a true gem and a now a friend. We were lucky to work with her and have already recommended others to her. We would eagerly work with her again. So grateful for her service.

We had a wonderful adoption experience with An Angel's Choice. Michelle went above and beyond, making sure both our birthmother and us had all our questions answered and felt comfortable. She was always available to talk and was there for us every step of the way. Michelle also made sure everything went smoothly with the lawyer she recommended and at the hospital. We couldn't have asked for a smoother adoption!
