Choosing an agency to assist you in your adoption plan is one of the most important decisions, both for you and your child. It is important that you feel comfortable with the agency you choose. The adoption process needs to be stress-free. You want to know your agency will do the following during the adoption process: They treat you like you are the only client. They are working in your best interest. They will not make you feel pressured. They truly care about your child’s future. They want to build an adoption plan around your needs. They screen the families personally and allow you to choose couples who are going to make wonderful parents for your child.
They are available to help YOU. They are licensed and have qualified counselors and coordinators on staff to support you before, during, and after the adoption. This is a private adoption agency. You make the choice to make a plan of adoption. Angel’s Choice will provide an Adoption Coordinator who will see you through the entire adoption process, beginning to end. Your Coordinator will help you create a customized adoption plan and will be available to help you when you need it.

Requirements to become a foster parent
There are myths and misconceptions about what you need to qualify as a foster parent.
Foster parent requirements vary by state. Parents must be at least 21 years of age in Arkansas. However, there cannot be more than a 45-year age difference between the child and the parent.
Marriage is not a requirement for fostering. Single individuals may apply.
Every foster parent in Arkansas must:
- Pass a background check
- Have a physical exam
- Complete the Arkansas Home Study
- Complete required training classes
- Pass the home inspection
- Attend face-to-face interviews with a state foster advocate
- Maintain financial stability
In addition, foster homes must have enough room for the foster child. This includes 50 square feet of bedroom space for personal belongings.

We cannot say enough good things about Michelle and An Angel's Choice Adoption, Inc! In terms of ethics, she was considerate of both our needs as adoptive parents and the birthmother's needs and balanced these well. Michelle was awesome with communicating with us to make sure that all the logistics for our adoption were completed in a timely manner. She helped with everything including signing contracts, getting in touch with the lawyer, making plans for the birth and arranging for our needs in the hospital after in addition to the week we had to stay in Arkansas awaiting finalization. She also sent us text updates on how our birthmother was doing and helped coordinate phone calls with our birthmother after her doctor's visits. She was right there at birth and helped with transitioning our son to us in the hospital and at discharge. Just as our birthmother and her family are now a part of our family, so too will Michelle and her husband always feel like family.

Michelle is a rare find and truly an Angel in the adoption field! We are so blessed and lucky to have gotten to work with Michelle during our adoption. We were continually amazed and impressed at how she handles the adoption process. She has a real gift for this work. We have worked with several other adoption professionals during our journey to find our baby, and Michelle, along with Martine at A Bundle of Joy, and Kaye (attorney), were by far the most responsible, professional, caring, responsive individuals we worked with. Working with Michelle was a wonderful experience. Adoption can be an emotionally complicated process. It was a comfort have Michelle's expertise and compassionate support every step of the way. We would definitely work with her again!

Our experience with Michelle and her staff was nothing short of amazing. We had some difficult aspects in our adoption journey and Michelle and her social worker, Miranda, were our rocks. They always had fast and communication in addition to keeping us actively in the loop at all times. I would absolutely work with them again for future adoptions.

There just aren't enough positive words in the vocabulary to say how very special Michelle with An Angels Choice adoption is but my very favorite ones would be GUARDIAN ANGEL! We were put into contact with Michelle by the grace of God! She made us a priority and was a very integral part of changing our lives forever!!! She was and still is always a text or call away! If you want to grow your family through adoption well look no further because this "ANGEL" is in your corner and she stays so connected to all the very special women she works with and the families as well!
