Our agency was not created on a whim. Heartstrings was founded in 2013 by the mother/daughter team of Jessica Lau and Andrea Holdaway. Andrea and her husband Evert adopted two daughters into their family. Jessica wants to give families the same gift of love that she feels for her adopted sisters.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Utah families receive monthly foster care payments to help offset the costs of raising a child. This stipend is meant for room and board, clothing, and related expenses.
The amount you receive varies based on a child's age and needs. Children that require more attention and care have slightly higher rates.
Foster youth have their medical and dental needs covered through Medicaid. This insurance should be enough for any doctor's visits, therapy sessions, dental exams, etc. Foster children also qualify for free school lunches.
Utah parents can take advantage of mentorship programs that allow them to learn from more experienced foster families. It's an excellent way to connect with others and build a support network. Plus, you'll have someone else to turn to if you have questions.
Utah Kids Belong has an app that gives foster parents access to special discounts from foster-friendly businesses. It's also an easy way to connect with faith-based communities, which may offer other types of support.

I just love heartstrings adoption agency it doesn’t feel like an agency it feels like family if there are any birth mothers who are looking to place with a good agency you should choose heartstrings they actually care about you and your unborn child, you will always be put first in this process the amount of care that Andrea, Callean and Jessica put forth will make you never wanna leave. This is the only agency I would deal with They have the kind of compassion that Birth mothers only dream about.

Andrea and Jessica have huge amazing hearts! They do this because they care! They always want the best interest for all involved in the adoption triad. They pour their hearts and souls into what they do! You are dealing with genuine, honest, and ethical people who love big and have servant hearts!

Heartstrings Adoptions was wonderful to work with! We had so many different questions and they were so kind to answer each one and help us along the entire process. They found us a wonderful birth mom and we are so blessed to have been able to grow our family thanks to their help. We would definitely recommend them!

I was looking for an Agency that I could find a family that I was able feel like I made a good decisions about Adoption. I called and was answered by a wonderful lady named Andrea. She asked me what were my plans and what was my goals with Adoption. I told her I wanted an Open Adoption and she found me a wonderful family that wanted the same thing. Im sent pictures once a month and visited twice a year from the family. I feel so lucky to have them in my life. They are always telling me how bless they are but actually im the one who is bleseed.

I highly recommend heartstrings!!!! Andrea, Colleen, and Jessica are some of the most amazing souls you could have the chance to incounter. They are there for you when nobody else is day or night ! They helped me find the most amazing family for my daughter who was born with special needs. They were the 2nd agency I had worked with. I was working originally with a company For 6 weeks that was only in it for money and didn't do anything to find my beautiful baby a family. Andrea found our family within a week she met with us and gave us 3 families to choose from before we even signed the papers to go with heartstrings. I had such a hard time from time to time and would call Andrea hysterical and she would always help me by being there for me at my worst. They truly are amazing they showed nothing but love the whole time.
