New Life Adoptions is a non-profit, Christian ministry to women in unintended pregnancies and a licensed adoption agency. We provide life-affirming alternatives and practical assistance through free guidance, education, and unplanned pregnancy options.
Committed to the Biblical truths regarding the sanctity of life, we believe that every child is a miracle from God and deserves the opportunity of life. Bringing a new life into this world is not without difficulties, and we lovingly and unconditionally provide client care, personal support, factual information and adoption services. We also refer women to the appropriate services to meet their individual needs.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Adults who are new to the fostering process sometimes feel overwhelmed and wonder if they will have support on their journey. Your child-placing agency is the first resource. Social services caseworkers provide aspiring foster parents with various types of support and connections. These include free educational training programs, helplines, and support groups.
It is important that foster parents build their individual support network, too. Connecting with other foster families with more experience is an excellent place to begin. Texas groups offer foster parent meetups; you can search online for the closest one.
The Texas Foster Family Association provides state training, a regional directory of support services, a summer training conference, and more. Membership benefits include getting access to foster care professionals and learning more about ways to become better caregivers. Children of TFFA members can also get assistance through the Scholarship Fund.
Austin Angels is another support organization that strives to assist foster parents and Texas foster children. They offer care packages and gifts for foster children and their caregivers, mentorship options, and education, among other resources. Foster children and teens can learn valuable skills that help prepare them for independent living, as well.

After much research, we chose this agency because of their specific views on caring for birth moms and birth families. We were incredibly impressed with the way they went above and beyond to love, serve, provide, pray for, and be a resource for all of our birth mom’s needs- before, during, and after our match and birth process.
There was never pressure to choose this agency, nor in any of our meetings did they say anything to pressure or lead our birth mom. They were excellent facilitators, mediators, and wise council. They were honest and open at all times with the financial cost- where comes from and exactly what they do with it. All legal documents were clearly explained to us and our birth mother. They were open with us from the beginning that they would be advocates for our birth mom and her decisions in all situations. They encouraged us to be open and patient in that process.
2 years later, we are still very attached to this agency, our precious social worker, and the whole team at New Life Adoptions as they continue to aid in navigating our relationship with our birth mom/grandma/uncles in visits and celebrating our blended family! Our expectations were met and exceeded in every regard. We cannot recommend them enough for Christian families and birth families looking for relationship, care, love, and expert guidance in the adoption plan, process, and life.

We had a wonderful experience adopting through New Life. We wanted to partner with an agency that takes care of & ministers to the birth family. Our adoption story had some bumps along the way, but New Life staff was there every step of the way and after. I tell anyone interested in adoption to go straight to New Life. I can’t say enough good things about this agency.

New Life Adoptions is amazing! We have more than one adopted child and their process was simple and transparent - a stark contrast to previous experiences. Most importantly, they were very focused and supportive of our child's birth mom, which was very important to us during what is a very emotional time for all involved. Every staff member has been available, accommodating, encouraging and honest and we are so grateful for their hard work. Thank you New Life for all you do!

New Life Adoptions has long had a very special place in my heart. Each of the staff brings uniquely beautiful gifts to the ministry, both in personality and professional strengths. Their empathy and compassion for each woman in crisis, and the families wanting to grow through adoption, are inspiring.

These are the sweetest people ever. It's hard having to make a decision to give up your child even when you know it's for the best. I never expected to be in this position but they were so helpful. I get to see my son and the family he is with is amazing! I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you New Life Adoption for giving my son the chance I may not have been able to.
