The Center for Youth and Family Solutions is a comprehensive, not-for-profit social service agency. Our agency provides strength-based, family-centered, trauma-responsive services to youth and families in need throughout Central Illinois and Eastern Iowa.
The Center for Youth and Family Solutions is the largest provider of Foster Care Services in Central Illinois, with offices in Bloomington, Champaign, Danville, Galesburg, Peoria, LaSalle, Lincoln, Springfield, Macomb and Rock Island. The overall goal of the CYFS child welfare program is to keep kids safe and support families to resolve challenges so they can be healthy, stable, and safe. CYFS provides collaborative, strength-based, client-focused, clinical and casework services.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You must meet minimum requirements to provide foster care for children in Illinois. To become a foster parent, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Attend foster parent orientation
- Pass a background check
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete the Home Study
- Provide at least three references
- Clear a physical exam
- Maintain financial stability
Foster families must be able to provide a safe and comfortable home for a child. You must provide room for the child to have a bed and enough space for personal belongings.
Foster parents do not need to be married or have a partner. However, if married, couples must show a stable marriage of at least one year before they can foster a child in Illinois.
Foster parents need to meet a child's basic care needs, such as providing meals and clothing. Foster families must also support a foster child's education and assist them in developing social skills.

They will over look a cause even if the return home parent shows signs of similar behavior that caused child family services to step in, in the first place. Filing grievances is only a start you have to follow up with calls to the CHILD ADVOCACY OFFICER in Chicago,IL 1-312-492-3700 This will produce results.
Appealing a decision given from the court which was recommended by the agency is called an Administrative Review which you have to find online and edit yourself to use in the county needed. Peoria Circiut Clerk DOES NOT give out the forms ONLY directs you to the law library, where you can find the 4page form after a few mins of searching.
Another ESSENTIAL TIP document every time and or person you meet reguarding your case. KEY REASON if any paper work, grievances are carried out or heard BEFORE an actual court hearing the agent and or caseworker in that complaint can resign or be terminated.
Therefore the agency itself is an entity(written agreement) is NOT A HUMAN and or LIVING SOUL which means no one has to be present for court which is wrong but TRUTH TRUMPS ALL

This place is screwing my family over lying and saying we are neglecting our daughter but we're not she gets feed, bath, she's got more clothes then me. So they are nothing but trouble and I won't trust their lies. And Felicia Jackson is a low down dirt person who loves destroying innocent kids and baby life's even their parents lives. So please don't trust or believe anything they say definitely Felicia Jackson.
