Will lie to get their way. Will rip children out of your home, promise they wont separate the kids and separate them immediately! Lie and say that the kids dont feel comfortable around eachother!
During a review meeting will say how they never got to talk to the kids by themselves then when called out will say they rarely got to, then when called out again will say they got to talk to the kids by themselves most of the time.
And if you have your own kids and attend the meeting with the family that got the kids taken away and you say something they disagree with they will file a complaint mimicking a previous case word for word from a few years ago and DCFS will be at your door the next day.

Mostly good services. Therapists listen professionally, most of the staff are courteous respective, this agency does provide what is needed and they do exactly what is best for the children. The only issues that does need to be reviewed and worked on are the way they handle their decisions on the parents, i will not name the perpetrator or perpetrators of this said issue, however there has been a few "minimal" decisions when it came down to what type of classes should be completed and which parent should attend the classes.it is fair and honest to say that the decisions they make are in the best interests of the children ,and that is what they are employed to do. Most of the bad reviews i seen on here are inappropriate,my interaction with this agency has been helpful in the manner of the obligations the worker's are employed to do... This agency has only one thing "in my opinion" that needs evaluated.and that opinion being who the victims and perpetrators are. My reason for not cooperating with this agency is i believe the children they strive to work with are the victims of parents who perpetrate the safety and well being of the children... Granted there are some parents men or women who are the sole perpetrators there are some instances to were both parents are the perpetrators... That is my only discretion against this agency and because i recorded all of my calls and video taped every interaction, my issue was resolved very swiftly by their superiors in another office as of today and is being investigated due to the overwhelming evidence that i submitted so therefore my anguishing issue has been resolved..... I can truthfully state that our society does need this agency because they do very good work for children with violent family's.. 5 stars for this review based on my experience with the staff in the peoria office... Even though my opinion is listed above and may seem to be deemed as an inappropriate gesture on their behalf or mine for stating it publicly it is just and opinion.......... This being over explained cyfs does very good ,professional, and compassionate work for the children and parents in need of intervention.Keep up the good work 😊 and strive to keep doing so please.. Just respectively keep in mind that the children are the individual s who are victimized by parents who need to be taught how to control themselves
