You don’t have to live in a big city to be a foster parent. You don’t have to have a big house, a fancy car or lots of money. What you need is a home. What you need is a heart that can open to a child who needs you. Won’t you become a foster parent today? A child is waiting.

On average, there are approximately 3,000 children each month in foster care in Alaska. Foster homes provide children in care a temporary, safe, stable and nurturing home until they can be reunited with their families. Some children stay in a foster home for days or weeks; some stay for months. In some cases, children are unable to safely return to their family home and are placed permanently with another family.

Victoria and Tami make navigating through a very unsure process seem manageable. Our first wonderful experience with them began over a zoom meeting. All the fear and worry of adopting seemed to melt away as they answered all of my questions and concerns before I even had to ask. They are so prompt to respond to emails, phone calls, and text messages which felt very necessary as a family going through the process. Now with being an official waiting family they have continued to be great with keeping us in the loop of what is happening and they even sent sweet cards to let us know they are thinking of us. They seem to truly love what they do, and it shows, making forever families was meant for them and we will be forever grateful for their support.

Tami and Stephanie were a delight to work with! These two genuinely care about their clients. Tami always responded promptly, assisted with our financial needs related to travel, and never hesitated to help with any questions or concerns. Stephanie is friendly and went above and beyond to assure our home study was completed promptly. Overall I highly recommend their services. Thank you to the Alaska Adoptive Services Team!
