"Lifeline Children's Services is a non-profit organization that offers compassionate care and support to vulnerable children, families, and expectant mothers. We provide a variety of services, including adoption, foster care, counseling, and education. We also offer pregnancy counseling to expectant mothers who are facing difficult decisions. Our trained counselors provide guidance and support to help expectant mothers make informed choices about their future and the future of their child.
We know that as Christians, we have all been adopted by our Heavenly Father. Adoption is a beautiful picture of the gospel on earth that points us back toward Christ. In Psalm 68, David tells us that God sets the lonely in families. We want the children we serve to have forever families, but more than that, we want them to know the truth of the gospel.
Our focus remains on an eternity with Christ for the child and the parent, and we believe a gospel-centered family is an amazing window to their salvation. Our desire is to come alongside Christian missional families with resources they will need to find and nurture their children, as they become disciples who make disciples.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You must meet minimum requirements to provide foster care for children in Alabama. Foster parents for children in need must:
- Be 19 years of age or older
- Offer a safe and caring home environment
- Provide adequate space for the foster child
- Maintain financial stability
- Ensure all household members are in good health
- Meet necessary home requirements
- Pass a background check
- Finish the 30-hour training course
- Complete the Home Study process

I love Lifeline. They are a blessing to families and to the kids they serve! We have adopted multiple children through Lifeline and are grateful for their wisdom, love and care.

Lifeline is amazing! We’ve adopted one child with lifeline and are currently adopting another one through them. Their knowledge, professionalism, love for Christ, and compassion for the kids and families is truly the best!

We wouldn't have made it through our first adoption journey without the love and support the lifeline staff showed us. They cared for us through a difficult road which ultimately brought us to our son who we can't imagine life without! They love birthmoms so well and walk with them through the difficult decisions and experiences that come with adoption whether or not they choose to parent or make an adoption plan. We love lifeline and will continue to work with them in our next adoption(s)!!

My husband and I were so impressed with Lifeline. They are warm and caring. They have a holistic view of adoption which really spoke to our hearts. God called us to adopt and to minister to our birth mother. Lifeline shares the same goal. We felt so loved!
