A Guardian Angel Adoptions is a fully licensed adoption agency established almost two decades ago. As we longed for children and became mothers through adoption we realized the love we have for women experiencing unplanned pregnancies, precious adopted children and adoptive families. Together we have created a team of adoption specialists with years of adoption experience and expertise and the same love for the clients we serve.

We feel privileged to work with expectant mother/birth mothers, precious babies and adoptive families every day and strive to care for them as we would our own families. We are grateful beyond measure to serve and care for you on your adoption journey. The name chosen for our agency explains our belief that there are “angels” all around us and we know we are never alone in this precious work.

Requirements to become a foster parent

Utah families receive monthly foster care payments to help offset the costs of raising a child. This stipend is meant for room and board, clothing, and related expenses.

The amount you receive varies based on a child's age and needs. Children that require more attention and care have slightly higher rates.

Foster youth have their medical and dental needs covered through Medicaid. This insurance should be enough for any doctor's visits, therapy sessions, dental exams, etc. Foster children also qualify for free school lunches.

Utah parents can take advantage of mentorship programs that allow them to learn from more experienced foster families. It's an excellent way to connect with others and build a support network. Plus, you'll have someone else to turn to if you have questions.

Utah Kids Belong has an app that gives foster parents access to special discounts from foster-friendly businesses. It's also an easy way to connect with faith-based communities, which may offer other types of support.

I tear up thinking about my experience in Utah as a birthmother with guardian angel. It was definitely a life changer in the best of way. My case manager was amazing. We had a lot in common even though we came from 2 very different worlds and actually had amazing conversations that made her feel more like a friend. My apartment was amazing. Killed time by going to gym (treadmill only) soaking in the hottub, and enjoying the cable tv. I kept flip flopping on weither to meet the birthfamily or not and with help from my "friend" and the agency's social worker (who was also amazing. We get carried away talking about our children we did have at home) i decided to meet them a day before my scheduled cesarean and it was aranged. I had a pass addiction and was methadone, they never judged me and made sure i had the medicine i needed. I never felt more cared for in all my life... The next day, after the baby was born i was ready to sign the adoption papers but i had "dosed" already & they wanted me to have a completely " clesr mind" so made me wait another day so i could sign before hand.... I'm 2 years clean now because of this experience

My experience was they did help me out of a bad situation but i was blessed for my situation to get better even though they paid my living expenses i felt very alone and there is slim emotional sport...i feel because i was not an addict they tried to persuade me more instead of educate and help me through the process....they did not follow through with my birth plan and became very aggresive for me to sighn off my rights even though my son was in the Nic U because he had poop in his system....I almost did it out of fear that there would be no way out of Utah...God said he would take care of it not to worry...I kept my son made it back home safe and I thank God I listened to him...If you want to change your mind they are not ok with it period they dont support it they will actually get very angry and try to manipulate you....please be aware!!!Birth mothers you have options and rights!!!!Dont go to Utah if you dont have a support system or they will find a way to manipulate you...Adoption is a choice at any and all times before you sign your rights over...if there is any girl there scared please reach out to me i know resources to get you out of there!

These people don’t honestly care about you.I did it but regret my decision.Luckily the family that adopted my child is amazing but the staff that work here 90% is Mormon & they just want you to sign your rights away so they can get there Money. These ppl make about 50-100k per adoption yet give you 4500 after birth as if that can really help someone transition. They smile in your face but are extremely fake. Please try to get help from the state you live in.Dont go to Utah it’s not worth it.They don’t do any of the things they promise to do.Theyll give you $100 a week for groceries that’s about it.Dont do it ladies I regret I did.
