Lonestar Autism Solutions is a behavioral healthcare center that provides Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment to children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disorders.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientific research-based discipline that has shown to be the most effective intervention for individuals diagnosed with autism and developmental disabilities. ABA is not a recipe that can be applied the same way to each child. Rather, it is a set of principles that guide our teaching and allow us to assess and shape the specific behaviors of each individual.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Adults who are new to the fostering process sometimes feel overwhelmed and wonder if they will have support on their journey. Your child-placing agency is the first resource. Social services caseworkers provide aspiring foster parents with various types of support and connections. These include free educational training programs, helplines, and support groups.
It is important that foster parents build their individual support network, too. Connecting with other foster families with more experience is an excellent place to begin. Texas groups offer foster parent meetups; you can search online for the closest one.
The Texas Foster Family Association provides state training, a regional directory of support services, a summer training conference, and more. Membership benefits include getting access to foster care professionals and learning more about ways to become better caregivers. Children of TFFA members can also get assistance through the Scholarship Fund.
Austin Angels is another support organization that strives to assist foster parents and Texas foster children. They offer care packages and gifts for foster children and their caregivers, mentorship options, and education, among other resources. Foster children and teens can learn valuable skills that help prepare them for independent living, as well.

We have been very happy with the care our son receives here. His behaviors have improved tremendously, and they treat him like family.

I worked at this place for a couple of months and i can truly say they care about each child. The patience, understanding and love they have for all the kids is amazing. The BCBA'S are all kind and understanding. I would definitely put my son here and refer friends here.

This place has provided services to my son for a few years. They will go out of their way to make it work for your family; from insurance to schedules. Their staff - they go out of their way help my son succeed. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that needs assistance with a child with learning disabilities. They will work tirelessly for your family!

This is a wonderful place that provides ABA therapy for children. My son has been going for over 3 years and he loves the entire staff. They are very patient with him and do a great job. Thank you especially to Kathleen the director and Amanda who oversees my son with the various therapists. They have been incredibly helpful with all of my questions and various issues over the years. They are very easy to work with and they try to go out of their way to provide multiple solutions in helping my son. I truly recommend Lonestar to anyone who has a kid on the spectrum.

My son currently attends LoneStar Autism Solutions in Grand Prairie. He is nonverbal and we no longer deal with aggressive behaviors because the BCBA created programs to help him communication his needs. We receive daily notes to track his progress & to see what his day consist of.
The BCBA works with us on goals for him & the team of very qualified RBT’s helps to make task fun.
LoneStar is the best thing that has happened to my son & family!
