Lifetree Adoption Agency, LLC
Adoption is a beautiful process; nevertheless, it is often misunderstood. Many view adoption as shameful, or as a dishonorable act of love, when it is really love in the purest form. Adoptions consist of love that extends from the heart, not the mind.
Choosing adoption is not chosen due to a lack of love, it is chosen because of your profound love for your child. In many ways adoption parallels the adoption process we have encountered with God. He sacrificed His Son so that we could have eternal life. You sacrifice your parental rights so that your child can have opportunities that you cannot provide at this time in your life and so that Adoptive Families can become that “mom” or “dad” they so desire.
Adoption is helping Adoptive Families fulfill their dreams of having children. Having children has been unattainable for many of these families, try as they might. Many couples have been on an infertility roller coaster and their only hope of having a family is through adoption.
The adoption process may be difficult for some people to understand, but it is important to see the long term beauty of this choice – for everyone involved.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Adults who are new to the fostering process sometimes feel overwhelmed and wonder if they will have support on their journey. Your child-placing agency is the first resource. Social services caseworkers provide aspiring foster parents with various types of support and connections. These include free educational training programs, helplines, and support groups.
It is important that foster parents build their individual support network, too. Connecting with other foster families with more experience is an excellent place to begin. Texas groups offer foster parent meetups; you can search online for the closest one.
The Texas Foster Family Association provides state training, a regional directory of support services, a summer training conference, and more. Membership benefits include getting access to foster care professionals and learning more about ways to become better caregivers. Children of TFFA members can also get assistance through the Scholarship Fund.
Austin Angels is another support organization that strives to assist foster parents and Texas foster children. They offer care packages and gifts for foster children and their caregivers, mentorship options, and education, among other resources. Foster children and teens can learn valuable skills that help prepare them for independent living, as well.

We loved our experience with Lifetree! Robin was an incredible blessing to our family in our adoption journey. Their agency is so responsive to all of your questions and so encouraging. One of the things I love the most is how they love and care for Birthmothers. They truly love and support them in such a beautiful way. We've had a great experience working with Lifetree and would highly recommend them to anyone who is seeking to adopt.

My experience with Lifetree was and has been nothing short of amazing. I reached out to Lifetree when I was 31 weeks pregnant and from the very first time I met with them I was completely changed. I didn't know I was pregnant until I almost delivered, but the comfort I felt when I reached to them and the peace I felt knowing my child would be in a safe, loving, caring, and nurturing environment made my decision to place that much easier. I've never had any regrets with my decision and I have never felt anything but love from Lifetree. I'm not sure who Truth Speaker is, but I definitely do not agree with their harsh words in their review towards Lifetree. I'm black and have never once felt like they are racist nor do I feel like I've sold my child to someone. we all have our own opinions and experiences in life, but I would have to say their should not define someone's decision to place with Lifetree. They're definitely great people.

I put my daughter up for adoption and Lifetree was there EVERY step of the way. The process was easygoing, hard for sure, but made it so much easier. The owner Robin was there for every dr appointment and I HAD ALOT cause I had to see a regular OB and a high risk dr. She sat down with me as I looked at families and made my list of what I wanted in a couple. She was there for me at all times of hours of ANY day. Heck, she was there when my daughter was born at 2 in the morning.
Lifetree paid for my rent and got me to and from my appointments. After I signed away my rights, Robin called to check on me or answered when I called her crying. She constantly asked if I was comfortable with my choices. Always put me first. I couldnt ask for anyone else to help me go through such a tough and hard time in my life. It's been 9 months since I placed and I still have contact when I have my days where it's hard and she gets me through it. I didnt think I could get through it after placement but Robin made it possible. If you're looking to put your child up for adoption OR looking to adopt, Lifetree is the best choice.
