Quiver Full Adoptions is non-profit, licensed, child placing agency based in South Carolina.

Quiver Full is a licensed child placing agency located in South Carolina. This means we can match adoptive families with expectant mamas as long as one or both are located in South Carolina. If both the expectant mama and adoptive family are out of South Carolina, we can still work with the adoptive family throughout the entire adoption; however, we will bring an attorney in at the time of match to assist with communication with the expectant mama.

Requirements to become a foster parent

Foster parents receive financial support in the form of a monthly board rate. Foster children also receive a clothing allowance, and their medical needs are covered through Medicaid.

In addition to the support you receive from your local DHS or foster care agency, there are other programs and resources available to parents.

The South Carolina Foster Parent Association offers free training to foster parents and kinship caregivers. You can find information on the latest laws and events as well. Plus, you gain access to valuable resources such as informational articles, contact information for professionals, etc.

The SC Foster Parent Association also allows foster families to connect with one another and share advice. You can find local association meetings in your area on their website.

The program Heartfelt Calling's mission is recruiting and supporting foster and adoptive families. Parents can learn more about the system, start the application process, register for orientation, find webinars, and more.

Foster parents that care for children in DSS custody receive reimbursement for related costs. These monthly foster care payments are meant to meet a child's basic care needs.

The most recent board rates are on the South Carolina Department of Social Services website. Payments may vary depending on a child's age and special needs.

Here are the basics;

When we realized adoption was the way the Lord wanted to start our family we reached out to Quiver Full Adoptions and another agency we choose not name. QFA replied before the end of the day and we had an appt with them later that week. We didn’t even hear from the other agency for 3 weeks!

From the first meeting we had with Casey and Elizabeth we felt so seen and loved. It’s easy to know they understand what it’s like because they have been there themselves. Their team did an incredible job providing community, education, and opportunity to make things easier on our end. They were able to provide us with the name of an incredible attorney to work with as well.

Once we went “active” we had the privilege of working with Amber. There is no one like her. She shoots it straight, no sugar coating, and does an incredible job managing what could be an awkward time between families considering adoption and hopeful adoptive families. Her love for our son’s God given family was just as apparent as her love for us.

Their entire team was there to celebrate with us and continue to stay in touch with both myself and our sons mother. I would never consider using another agency in the future to add to our family.

I honestly can’t say enough positive things about the women at Quiver Full Adoptions! During a time when you are nervous, anxious, excited, etc. these women come alongside of you to help you navigate each step of the adoption process. My husband and I were blown away by how quickly they responded to emails, how well they answered our many questions, and how deeply they care for each of their clients. Most of them are adoptive mothers themselves, so they know what you are facing. It was obvious to us that these women are ones of strong Christian values that believe in creating an agency that participates in ethical adoptions. We are incredibly grateful for the love and support that they showed us throughout each part of our adoption. We look forward to working alongside of them again in the future.

Quiverfull was very helpful upfront while we were waiting but once we became an active family things changed drastically. We didn’t hear from them as much, if we asked them questions they seemed annoyed and acted like we were bothering them. Almost always communicated through text, which was fine for most things, but some things needed a phone call. Told us we were unethical, sometimes it feels like they care more about the birth mothers than the customers. Didn’t even know when our expectant moms due date was, or when we traveled. Didn’t communicate with us while in the hospital. Just seemed very distant. Now thankfully we have a beautiful daughter but a lot of the things they did were not ethical or professional.

We just adopted our son as a client of Quiver Full Adoptions. I am giving my 100% honest review of our time spent with them, as well as the timeline that led us to our son.

We submitted our application and was approved as a waiting family with Quiver Full Adoptions in July of 2018. We waited on their waitlist to become an active family until March 1st of 2019 and then we became active. We ended up being chosen through social media in October of 2019 and our son was born on January 21st, 2020.

If you are looking for an agency that is going to "to get you a baby as fast as possible", this may not be the one for you. If you are looking to have an agency do everything for you and you dont want to put any work in on your end, this may not be the one for you.

But if you want an agency that will educate you on open adoption, be able advocate for you and the birth families, and love first the way God has called us all to do - this is the agency for you. Our adoption was not fast, but we brought the child home we were meant to. Jessica was an absolute rock for me keeping me motivated to keep going and encouraged. Amber was an advocate for our sons birth family and ensured they were listened to and well taken care of. Casey and Elizabeth answered every question we had. Amber and Elizabeth drove across the state to comply with a crazy hospital policy that had us all surprised and shook and made sure consent signing day and discharge went well and they were both there.

When we first looked for an agency, nothing sat well with us but Quiver Full. We are so glad we went with our gut and will be back for the next adoption someday!

We absolutely loved working with Quiver Full Adoptions. They were so helpful and always there when we needed them for questions or just support to help get through the adoption process. We highly recommend them! We will definitely be using them again for our future adoption!
