Requirements to become a foster parent
Foster parents receive a maintenance payment to help cover some of the care costs of raising a child. The rate parents receive varies depending on the child's age and their special needs. Foster children also receive a clothing allowance, covering their medical needs.
The Missouri Department of Social Services website shows you the latest rates.
However, these maintenance payments aren't always enough. Everything from school supplies to toys can cut into that budget. Many businesses and organizations are stepping up to help cover the gaps and assist foster families.
Foster Together provides a walk-in shopping service for foster children free of charge. Kids can find new and like-new clothing, toys, car seats, and more.
Foster parents caring for younger children can look to Nurses for Newborns, which provides health assessments, screenings, education, and more support.
Another valuable resource is respite care, which gives foster parents a break when needed. Respite foster care is a temporary service offered by other trained foster families. It's also useful in the event of an emergency situation.

I edited my initial review stating that these people are "child traffickers."
But because they wanted to throw out threats about libel defamation; I still feel this way, but I must express it's my opinion.
I'll tell anyone dealing with these folks, Children's Division, who subcontracted my case to this company dropped the ball with my children. The social worker they sent out was not available in order to precede with their investigation for over three weeks.
They took my kids based off a lie that that employee told to the courts. My advice going into forward. Get a lawyer before you even let them in the house; these people are not your friend, and they get their money based on children being in the system.

I'm a former foster parent with Bringing Families Together. They are 100% focused on reunification with birth families whenever / wherever possible. They make that 100% abundantly clear in the foster parent application / approval process to become a foster parent. Everything they do is for the kids! And they have so many programs to support birth parents and adoptive parents too. They care so much about the birth families, and of course the children first and foremost, and also about us as foster parents. I fostered during the pandemic for the very first time as a single parent. It was really challenging and my kiddo needed lots of love and support. BFT really supported me in being able to support my kiddo and keep the lines of communication open for her with other significant people in her life and supported me with the added difficulties the entire shutdown created for a new, single foster parent with a child that had experienced educational neglect and food neglect before entering the foster care system. They helped me / supported me in getting her extra services. The women-run organization is really caring, dedicated and supportive and they work so hard at their mission. I could not have had a better foster licensing agency! Just incredible. For personal reasons, I had to stop fostering, but if I become a foster parent again it will only be through BFT!

If anybody from this agency comes to your home do not open your door call a lawyer in immediately!! They will kidnap your kids and somehow adopt them out legally there's 950 children missing in St Charles Missouri and I believe they have something to do with it they generate 3 figures a year and call it non-profit SOMEONE NEEDS TO DO SOMETHING or families will keep getting ripped apart and they'll keep getting richer
