The Children's Place Assocation
Children’s Place Association believes strongly in keeping families together, making every effort to support the parent/child relationship. However, in situations of child abuse or neglect, foster care placement often becomes necessary. Our program matches children with capable, loving foster parents who are trained by our organization to care for each child’s specific needs. For children unable to return to their birth families, Children’s Place also facilitates adoption.
The majority of foster children we serve also have special needs, including medical conditions and behavioral health issues.
Children’s Place is looking for adult couples and individuals willing to open their homes and hearts to a child in need. We seek parents who will offer the stability, guidance and love every child needs to develop and thrive.

The review about the human resource department is true. Very very rude. Very inconsiderate. My son was sick after having multiple fevers over 100 which lead to him having a seizure and they wanted to let me go for boy coming into work. They don’t value their employees. Getting hired was a mess it took forever. They told me I would have one position and gave me another because they were and still are understaffed. Had me coming in in several different occasions to interview and do paper work and things that should’ve been done the one day I came in after being offered the position but becshe they were under staffed no one had the time to sit the the two hours wouldn’t taken to complete the process in one sit down although I was told it would happen in one day. Very unorganized and inconsiderate. The head I HR is only concerned about her coins. Only would see her if she was coming in to try and fire someone or to fire someone. She will in a meeting and have an opinion on you and she doesnt know anything about you. She will have have so much to about you but never see you or take the time to come around and get to know you. I think her position should be reconsidered. She work in a entirely separate building and the way she does things is here say so if your not favored at work she won’t take the time to talk to you to figure out the truth.
Now the ELC. If you do not have the time to monitor your child, if you don’t talk to the child (well the ones that are able to talk) don’t send your child here. I worked there for a little over a year. They were under staffed I started, the entire time I was there and are still under staffed. They had classes where there are only one teacher abd it should be 2. They can not keep teachers. Teachers come and go. Then with the bad HR getting hired isn’t the best either. They have teachers that knowing talk about the students to the students saying racist and offensive things and they are still there. 3-5 has a better set of teachers then 0-3. I wouldn’t trust them with my child. They let the parents come in and say and act a fool I mean they will curse you out and nothing is done but if you dare defend yourself it’s a problem. I was told by the head of HR that because of the demographics “we expect them to be a certain way and that’s not going to change” and she continued to say I’m so many words that you have to be able to deal with it. Their demographics ... Families of blacks and brown. Blacks, Latinos, Hispanics (mass majority), low income families, families with disabilities. Now sitting there hearing this from her made feel like it was racism issue. Because people are less fortunate they are ignorant, rude and that’s just it according to the head of HR. Like why was that even ok to say. All the parents are rude some have their reason I’m that I had come to understand were valid. That place is messy. They don’t have the best teachers now there are some good ones but the bad out weights the good. Again if you are not a parents that’s involved and pay attention to your child you will be missing out on a lot of things. When I left I so bad because I did a lot for my students that needed to be done and was going to get done if I hadn’t and I know it’s just not being done. The classes I worked in both of them in 0-3 this years infant class, and last years 1-2 years old class were the worst classes. I was the third the teacher in both, the lead teachers were not knowledgeable about their jobs, they were not teaching the students anything, they didn’t pay attention to the students, they didn’t take the time to learn their students so they can help them. They were lying on the assessments the students are given, lying on paper work staying the students were able to do certain things so hey didn’t have to do the actual work that will help the children develop and progress as they should. I shined light on that and my job started to go down the drain. I loved my students. The new director is a do it my way or no way. They don’t like ppl that speak up for themselves!! That was me!!

Very rude and ignorant human resource department! Dont try and apply here cause if your not able to keep the Interview and need to reschedule due to a medical issue. They will rudely disregard you in attempting to apply with them again. Rude, unprofessional staff I've ever had to deal with .
