Family Core
Just as its name implies, FamilyCore understands that strong families, equipped with the tools and ties to succeed, are at the heart of any vibrant, tight-knit community. FamilyCore (previously known as Counseling & Family Services) employs over 90 individuals that work with schools, the court system and other social service agencies to connect counseling, intervention, preventative education and other support services with those who have a need.
FamilyCore takes a holistic approach in its continuum of care, often providing boosts of support to multiple generations. The end goal is to maintain the integrity of family, however it may be defined.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You must meet minimum requirements to provide foster care for children in Illinois. To become a foster parent, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Attend foster parent orientation
- Pass a background check
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete the Home Study
- Provide at least three references
- Clear a physical exam
- Maintain financial stability
Foster families must be able to provide a safe and comfortable home for a child. You must provide room for the child to have a bed and enough space for personal belongings.
Foster parents do not need to be married or have a partner. However, if married, couples must show a stable marriage of at least one year before they can foster a child in Illinois.
Foster parents need to meet a child's basic care needs, such as providing meals and clothing. Foster families must also support a foster child's education and assist them in developing social skills.

This place is a straight up JOKE and should be shut down they have no idea how to properly do their job and their copy and paste reports are a joke the mother of my child a convicted felon who had her SECOND COKE BORN BABY was put as low risk and when we get to court they have some lady's drug test results in their report it's a waste of tax dollars and they let the addicts get away with everything because they don't wanna make a decent effort to do what's truly right it's a place that wants to just push these addicts out the door not actually careing about the children even the supervisors don't have a clue and wanna give legal advise to people when they are completely wrong I found this out the hard way shut them down NOW!!! Not to mention how they didn't show up to cpurtdate I could go on all day about this waste of tax dollars
