Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago (“CCAC”) was founded more than a century ago to meet human needs through the Mission of Charity. A trusted partner and steward, CCAC has grown to be one of the largest human service providers in the Chicago metropolitan region.
We accompany anyone in need, regardless of their faith, gender, race, or ethnicity. In fact, the majority of the thousands of people we serve each day are not Catholic.
The same is true for the majority of the people who work with us – they partner with us because they are drawn to our values and mission.
We commit to being present to children, youth and families, especially to mothers and their babies – it is core to who we are. We commit to being present to families in crisis and to those coping with loss – it is core to who we are.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You must meet minimum requirements to provide foster care for children in Illinois. To become a foster parent, you must:
- Be at least 21 years old
- Attend foster parent orientation
- Pass a background check
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete the Home Study
- Provide at least three references
- Clear a physical exam
- Maintain financial stability
Foster families must be able to provide a safe and comfortable home for a child. You must provide room for the child to have a bed and enough space for personal belongings.
Foster parents do not need to be married or have a partner. However, if married, couples must show a stable marriage of at least one year before they can foster a child in Illinois.
Foster parents need to meet a child's basic care needs, such as providing meals and clothing. Foster families must also support a foster child's education and assist them in developing social skills.

Good people doing much-needed work for the disenfranchised.many programs to help those in need.if you or your family are down on your luck i highly recommend checking them out to see how they can give you or your loved ones the helping hand that you may need.God bless them for their good deeds

Ok this seems right. Due to third party interfering at my occupation. Catholic Charities be held liable for the acts of a rogue group whom was and mayhaps still be trying to control the grow and well being of those who are in need of services provided by Catholic Charities.
