Ms. Connie Going, National Adoption Advocate, Founder of The Adoption Advocacy Center, and Adoptive Mom, is dedicated to making a difference. With over 25 years in Child Welfare and Adoption, Ms. Going has completed over 1000 adoptions. In 2012, Ms. Going was awarded the prestigious National Angels in Adoption™ Congressional Designation for her outstanding advocacy efforts. In 2014, she received the Irene Sullivan Adoption Award, and in 2015, she was given the very first “ Let It Be Us! “ Adoption Adoption Advocate of the Year Award. And in 2016, received the TampaBay Lightning Hero Award.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

Let’s just say, Going adoption really made a huge impact on my life! The thought, the time, and most importantly.. the LOVE that going adoption put into my case was probably the most love I’ve gotten in my life. They let me chose my family and till this day me and the family I chose are very close and I think of them as family as well. Thank you going adoption!!

I had the opportunity to work directly with the amazing Going Adoption and Surrogacy team as we helped an expectant Mother move into a safe new living space. They will make your life helll and try to steal your child if you decide to parent instead of choosing adoption. DONT GET MIXED UP WITH THESE PEOPLE! Choose another agency all together. This one is TRASH!
