San Antonio Adoption Agency and Texas Adoption

We understand the emotional and physical torment a birth mother experiences when she is pregnant and does not want to be. One of the most challenging decisions you will ever make will be deciding whether you should keep your baby, have an abortion, or go through the process of adoption. We also understand your decision may affect you or your baby and other children you have at home.

We hope to answer any questions you may have as regards birth father involvement (yes, you can move forward without father involvement, although we welcome any questions or concerns a birth father may have), open or closed adoptions, selecting a family (or not), etc. Our desire and goal is that you will be at peace with whatever your decision may be. Sacrificing your baby to receive the best care, education, and opportunities is the most unselfish act.

We will listen to and honor your request regarding receiving photos of the baby throughout the years and will make arrangements for you to meet the adoptive family if you choose. These are personal decisions that only you can make; there are no right or wrong choices.

Our agency staff will assist you, discuss your alternatives, and provide counseling and support as you decide what is best for you.

We are a San Antonio-based adoption agency that provides help to birth mothers and prospective adopting parents with the whole adoption process from A to Z.

Requirements to become a foster parent

Adults who are new to the fostering process sometimes feel overwhelmed and wonder if they will have support on their journey. Your child-placing agency is the first resource. Social services caseworkers provide aspiring foster parents with various types of support and connections. These include free educational training programs, helplines, and support groups.

It is important that foster parents build their individual support network, too. Connecting with other foster families with more experience is an excellent place to begin. Texas groups offer foster parent meetups; you can search online for the closest one.

The Texas Foster Family Association provides state training, a regional directory of support services, a summer training conference, and more. Membership benefits include getting access to foster care professionals and learning more about ways to become better caregivers. Children of TFFA members can also get assistance through the Scholarship Fund.

Austin Angels is another support organization that strives to assist foster parents and Texas foster children. They offer care packages and gifts for foster children and their caregivers, mentorship options, and education, among other resources. Foster children and teens can learn valuable skills that help prepare them for independent living, as well.

In the beginning nI like this organization. Seems though people have lost their touch or I should say appreciation for people. But not people children. You at a time people adopted because they couldn't have one or a mother felt it was the best interest for her child. And both right in their way. Unfortunately all our great plans and dreams become steel. We allow pride of the eye and lust for money make permanent life changing decisions which is followed by permanent consequences. I hope and pray for this organization that you go back to your first love. When u first started this company. That way it your heart reminds you of Your Mission and Core Values. Be blessed

ABC Adoption Agency is a really good place to go through. In 1993, I was adopted to my Mom in NYC. May she Rest In Peace! And I just got in contact with my birthmother and the rest of my biological family 2 years ago. I also found out that my uncle is a firefighter like me. Which is best news I got in my opinion! I’ve went down to meet them all with my boyfriend twice already and am still meeting other family members. I’m so thankful for ABC Adoption! Thanks guys!

This agency is located inside the Monte Vista Professional Building on the third floor. The director, Elvira, is caring and compassionate. She will drop everything to ensure you are taken care of! She has many years of experience and caters to both the birth mother and the adoptive parents. She is a counselor as well, so she is able to provide care and emotional support before and after the adoptions. If you are a birth mother or if you are considering adopting a child, I highly recommend ABC Adoption Agency!
