Choice Adoptions
The mission of Choice Adoptions is to serve all people involved in the adoption process and to protect vulnerable children. Choice is comprised of social workers, counselors, and advocates who are here to help. If you are pregnant and considering your options, we promise to listen and help you wander through this difficult phase. We understand this time can be confusing and scary and our intention is not to talk you into doing anything you don’t want to do.
That is not our heart.
We believe everyone needs help from time to time. We also believe when we reach out to help others, all that love comes back and changes the way we think about the world. That love and sense of community raises our ability to love others right where they are.
We believe that no one benefits from being pressured and we have zero intention of judging you or your current situation. We have all been in places we wish we weren’t.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Foster parents receive a reimbursement or payment to help with care costs. According to the Oregon Department of Human Services, the Oregon foster care rates are as follows:
- Base rate payment of $693 per month (age 0-5 years)
- Base rate payment of $733 per month (age 6-12)
- Base rate payment of $795 per month (age 13 - 20)
These payments are meant to help cover the costs of food, clothing, housing, transportation, personal care items, etc. Parents may also receive a shelter care payment.
The DHS or private foster care agencies provide flexible training opportunities, on-call support, access to a network of professionals, support groups, and respite care.
Respite care gives full-time foster parents a break when needed or allows them to address emergency situations.
With Love Oregon is a non-profit that supports foster families by providing clothing and supplies to young children. Parents can get clothing, diapers, car seats, and more.
211info is a non-profit that provides parenting education, parent-to-parent networking, helplines and support groups, and much more. Resource families can find many types of support on their website.

Review is coming from a waiting family.
I feel like the communication could of been better thru the waiting process. The process in which the profile books are reviewed/made could also be handled more professional on their side.
The staff was nice but there needs to be room for improvement on other areas.

Choice Adoptions was caring, invested, thorough and very knowledgeable during our adoption experience. I would recommend Choice Adoptions to any family looking to adopt.

We have loved working with Choice Adoptions for both of our adoption journeys! They are super helpful through the entire process and have become a major part of our adoption story.

We worked with Choice Adoptions for nearly 3 years which finally resulted in the adoption of our son. We can’t possibly imagine a more personal and caring group of people to work with. They answered every question, helped us through all difficulties and frustrations, and eventually found us the perfect birth-mom and situation for us. The entire time we were in the process they never rushed anything and were all about finding the right fit for us. There is nothing I would change about our experience with this agency and anyone who wants to pursue adoption would be blessed to have the team at Choice advocating right alongside of them. Thank you for making our dreams a reality.

This place is a joke. Do not adopt, you will be miserable and they could care less. guilty until proven innocent. That is the adoption motto.. GOOD LUCK.!
