"Lifeline Children's Services is a non-profit organization that offers compassionate care and support to vulnerable children, families, and expectant mothers. We provide a variety of services, including adoption, counseling, and education. We also offer pregnancy counseling to expectant mothers who are facing difficult decisions. Our trained counselors provide guidance and support to help expectant mothers make informed choices about their future and the future of their child.
We know that as Christians, we have all been adopted by our Heavenly Father. Adoption is a beautiful picture of the gospel on earth that points us back toward Christ. In Psalm 68, David tells us that God sets the lonely in families. We want the children we serve to have forever families, but more than that, we want them to know the truth of the gospel.
Our focus remains on an eternity with Christ for the child and the parent, and we believe a gospel-centered family is an amazing window to their salvation. Our desire is to come alongside Christian missional families with resources they will need to find and nurture their children, as they become disciples who make disciples.

We welcome you to explore our services and learn more about our organization. Contact us today to see how we can help you or someone you know."

Requirements to become a foster parent

You'll still have support and guidance when you receive a foster placement. Kentucky has continued training and can connect new foster parents with experienced families through the Foster Parent Mentor Program.

Having access to an experienced foster family is invaluable. You'll be able to connect with other adults who have advice and can provide coaching to make your parenting journey easier.

Your local child-placing agency is one of your best sources of information and foster parenting services.

Nonprofit child welfare organizations approved by the state recruit resource parents, provide resources, and offer training and general support. When you attend the informational orientation and parent training, you'll receive books and resources that tell you more about the many available foster parent support groups.
