Kulima Care Family Services
Kulima Care is passionate about serving the family, whether foster, adoptive, or biological. Our agency believes that the foundation of our work with children and youth begins in the home; therefore, it is a priority to provide ample support to the caregivers who are on the frontline parenting our clients. Our staff provides case management, client assessments, clinical support, parent training, and 24-hour crisis support. It is a blessing to be able to impact the quality of life a child will experience, and that takes teamwork and purposeful partnerships within the community – partnerships with people just like you.
We nurture a supportive atmosphere where foster and adoptive parents can train, grow, and help their kids. Ultimately, we believe that everyone deserves family, and we’ll do whatever we can to cultivate healthy homes. foster care agency supports family connection with passion, honor, and respect. We seek to be an open door to solutions that bring wholeness.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You'll still have support and guidance when you receive a foster placement. Kentucky has continued training and can connect new foster parents with experienced families through the Foster Parent Mentor Program.
Having access to an experienced foster family is invaluable. You'll be able to connect with other adults who have advice and can provide coaching to make your parenting journey easier.
Your local child-placing agency is one of your best sources of information and foster parenting services.
Nonprofit child welfare organizations approved by the state recruit resource parents, provide resources, and offer training and general support. When you attend the informational orientation and parent training, you'll receive books and resources that tell you more about the many available foster parent support groups.

Still listed as a Treatment Director on an updated comparative report 4 months after quitting. Don't believe everything you see put out by them

This is an amazing agency. Mr. Antonio has been very respectful and encourages all of his staff, parents & children to be the best person they can be. I recommend this agency to everybody.

This is a wonderful agency, they care about the children, and foster parents. The staff even get a paid self-care day off every month. The Director is no joke and goes over and beyond the call of duty.

Owner of this company is spiteful and hateful very childish. Will argue with if you don’t do what he wants or doesn’t have control of the situation until he has the last word. He may care about the kids and parents but only if everything is going his way otherwise he’s ready to do whatever he can to “get back at you” all while claiming to be a Christian. It’s sad really.
