Heritage Children Services is a locally owned and operated foster care agency; we are Kentuckians serving Kentuckians.
As community members, we have a vested interest in the well-being and future of Kentucky’s children. Our staff and foster parents are extremely well-trained and prepared to meet the needs of foster children placed with our agency.
We are licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky to provide the following services: Foster Care, Therapeutic Foster Care, Medically Complex Foster Care, and Independent Living Program. At Heritage Children Services, we are committed to providing the best possible foster care and adoption services for the children in our care.

Requirements to become a foster parent
You'll still have support and guidance when you receive a foster placement. Kentucky has continued training and can connect new foster parents with experienced families through the Foster Parent Mentor Program.
Having access to an experienced foster family is invaluable. You'll be able to connect with other adults who have advice and can provide coaching to make your parenting journey easier.
Your local child-placing agency is one of your best sources of information and foster parenting services.
Nonprofit child welfare organizations approved by the state recruit resource parents, provide resources, and offer training and general support. When you attend the informational orientation and parent training, you'll receive books and resources that tell you more about the many available foster parent support groups.

Heritage is quick to pass the blame on their failures to not listen to a foster parent when situations with a child in their care conducts acts of vandalism. The also don't listen to their foster parents when they inform their case managers about a child needing to be removed from a home until the situations escalate. It took over a month for our foster child to get removed from my home from when I first requested it with our case manager until things reached a tipping point when the cops got called to my house. The child has vandalised my vehicle and Heritage is refusing to accept any responsibility for this issue.

Amazing service. Staff is competent and friendly. Service is quick. Building is clean and well maintained. Advice and assistance was offered and high quality. Any time you need a service of this type, this is the business to go to. This was a great experience, VERY impressive!
