Welcome to America World! Our two-fold mission is growing families through adoption and caring for vulnerable children. We are a faith-ased, charitable organization with an established, well-respected reputation among adoption professionals, government agencies, and foreign adoption authorities. We are committed to maintaining integrity throughout the adoption process, advocating for the fatherless while seeking to place them in loving, Christian families, and supporting them if they are in a situation in which adoption is not possible. Our experienced staff will walk with you on your adoption journey with compassion and understanding.
We invite you, your family, your church, your business, and your community to partner with America World to bring hope and love to orphans worldwide. Requirements to become a foster parent
You'll still have support and guidance when you receive a foster placement. Kentucky has continued training and can connect new foster parents with experienced families through the Foster Parent Mentor Program.
Having access to an experienced foster family is invaluable. You'll be able to connect with other adults who have advice and can provide coaching to make your parenting journey easier.
Your local child-placing agency is one of your best sources of information and foster parenting services.
Nonprofit child welfare organizations approved by the state recruit resource parents, provide resources, and offer training and general support. When you attend the informational orientation and parent training, you'll receive books and resources that tell you more about the many available foster parent support groups.
