I think it’s great to adopt children with special needs. Tho, I think it would make sense, if you’d consider the extra costs in raising a child with additional needs. It requires a lot of financial stability to raise kids with special needs. I hope you take this into consideration.

I myself am adopted from sunny ridge aug 1982. We lived in Chicago so multiple times a year we would go to sunny ridge for big events with tons of people. 39 almost 40 now and still kicking and appreciating every day what sunny ridge had done for my parents and what they continue to do still is amazing and inspiring.

The people at Holt-Sunny Ridge are wonderful. From the initial meeting we felt at ease. They treat you like family and genuinely care about what is best for the adopting family as well as the birth mother. They have been very supportive to us through the whole process as well as afterwards. We are so thankful we chose them!

Great agency that isn't just concerned about facilitating adoptions, but understands the whole process on all sides and is committed to personalized service and support long after an adoption is finalized. Adoption isn't an event, so the support they offer is essential.
