Association House of Chicago
Association House provides support and care for vulnerable children and families who have a history of child abuse and neglect and are involved with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). We serve the Cook County and Northern Illinois areas and remain one of the few providers with fully bilingual English/Spanish staff.
Our goal is to ensure the safety, well-being, and healthy development of children and adolescents with a history of trauma and to promote their resilience and progress. We aim to help parents and families develop nurturing and safe relationships with their children.
Values
Every participant, staff, guest, and friend who enters Association House can expect each interaction to be characterized by:
Integrity: Being ethical and demonstrating a commitment to mission, values, and philosophy
Excellence: Using skills and abilities to increase effectiveness consistently
Respect: Recognizing and affirming the unique value of each individual, group, and culture
Leadership: Taking every opportunity to develop one’s capacity for decision-making, individual initiative, and quality of life choices

They saved my life. I'm still going there, I was in an abusive situation . I left the person. Went to a baking school and going back to school for other things. I have my own place now got into a few other program. The people there are truly amazing and they care deeply. It is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life to go there. Then a few years later they dropped the ball big time. I would never go back there again ! Please ifbyounneed to continue to need help find another place to go !
