Jewish Adoption and Family Care Options
Foster families are licensed substitute families that open their hearts and their homes to children in need of care for a temporary period of time.
Children enter foster care when it is determined that they are unable to be safely and adequately cared for by their birth families. They are referred to JAFCO through the state foster care system, the court or privately by birth parents, grandparents, family members or professionals involved with the child.
The primary goal of foster care is to reunite children with their birth parents. While the child is in foster care, all family members including birth parents receive supportive services from JAFCO as they work towards family reunification. If the birth parents or the court decides that reunification is not possible, then alternate permanent solutions such as relative placement, adoption or independent living (in the case of older children) are sought.

Requirements to become a foster parent
Many adults are eligible to become foster parents in their state but do not always realize it. Each state in the U.S. has regulations and requirements for licensing foster parents. Florida does not require parents to own a large home or quit their jobs and become stay-at-home parents. Florida foster parents must:
- Be 21 years of age or older
- Prove good health and ability to care for a child
- Maintain a stable income
- Pass a background screening
- Finish 30 hours of foster parent training
- Complete a Home Study
The required training course is free to aspiring foster parents. It helps parents learn how to foster children and become licensed to provide foster care in Florida.

Act nice at first but you have to be careful what you say especially around their staff. as a victim on DMV they fired me. No one safety was threatened. The kids In the group home are very disrespectful and if you even defend yourself you’re fired. long hours Underpaid, understaff, they act like they care at first but it’s only a facade. I Never even got trained well, I met my supervisor once in person the whole 90 days I was there and she was in a rush. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is not a Jewish foster care, it’s a regular foster care that claims to be Jewish. They do everything they can to make the orphans abandon the Torah.

Do not ever bring your kids here because they try to steal them and then when you go when you try to get their property like my cell phone that didn't belong to her they won't give it to me so they must have one hell of a cell phone sales going on
